CELTIC’S title hopes took nothing more than a slight knock at the weekend due to the disappointing 1-1 home draw with Dundee United and no-one knows that more than Cha Du-Ri.

The Hoops’ South Korean defender and his team-mates were left deflated by the Tannadice side’s 93rd-minute equaliser with practically the last touch of the ball, but there is a determination within the squad to overcome the setback.

Speaking after the game the defender said: “The difference is only three points and we still have three more games against Rangers so everything is open. We have a good team and play good football. I'm sure we will win the championship. We are disappointed with the draw against United but need to move on."

With just three points of a gap at the top in November and still two dozen games still to go, Cha and his team-mates are more than confident the title is still well within their grasp, but he rued the missed chances by the Hoops in front of the United goal.

He added: “We had enough chances but we didn’t get the goals and they scored in the last second. If you watch the games, including this one, we were excellent in the first half. We played well and had a lot of chances but didn’t score a second goal."

Rangers financial woes intensified today as talk of administration grew in volume. Owner Craig Whyte is due to hold a press conference with manager Ally McCoist at 3pm today, and the rumour-mill has gone into over-drive over the subject matter.

It is a sad time indeed for the Ibrox club with their proud history, but many sources claim that it has been a long time coming. The SFA have ruled that if Glasgow Rangers are to stay as a club, then they will have to begin again in the third tier of the league. This has drawn furious criticism from the Rangers hierarchy, not to mention the fan-base. They cite several cases where teams were merely docked points, rather than demoted, but this was dismissed. Craig Whyte has vowed to fight the ruling, but it seems as though they will not be moved, and it is beginning to look like Glasgow Rangers Football Club will begin a new life in the third division at the beginning of next season.

There was a shocking twist in the Rangers saga today as owner Craig Whyte claimed that instead of acquiescing with the SFA's plan for demotion, they would seek to move associations, finally realising their dream of playing in England. Although Mr Whyte was ridiculed at the time, it seems this morning as though his words have some foundation. There has been contact with the English FA, and it appears that the idea is not as far-out as it sounds. An emergency meeting has been announced at the FA behind closed doors, and it is expected that they will discuss Rangers being admitted into the Barclay's Premiership. Sources at the FA, as well as Craig Whyte himself, were unavailable for comment.

Neil Lennon has broken his silence over the Rangers saga and claimed that Craig Whyte is disrespecting the SFA and Scottish Football in general with his plan to move down South. At a press conference, before a pre-season game in Washington, he said, "Craig Whyte doesn't care about Scottish football, and never has. What he is doing to Rangers football club should not be sanctioned." When pressed to answer a question on his own desires to join the English game, Lennon refused to comment, leaving little doubt of his opinion on the matter.

Both the Barclay's Premiership and the Premier League members voted today on the destination of Rangers following their drop into administration. Sensationally, only one club in Scotland desired Rangers to stay, and that was Celtic. Even more interesting was the Premiership ruling, with Rangers bid for entry turned down in a 16-4 vote. Craig Whyte's bid now appears dead in the water, and it is hard to see beyond the club starting in division 3 next season.

It was a sad day on the South coast today as Portsmouth finally closed their doors after going into liquidation. Their case is a sobering reminder that even in one of the most competitive and exciting leagues in the World, financial trouble is still rife. Millwall are also rumoured to be in trouble. As the Championship finds itself one club short, there is talk of a meeting of the organisers to determine the best course of action. Huddersfield Town are confident of taking Pompey's place in the league as 3rd placed side in League One last season, but several sources are claiming that the Football League are considering granting both Rangers and Celtic places in the Championship in what would be a sensational move.

The Football world was in shock tonight as both Rangers and Celtic were admitted to the Championship, effective as of the start of the new season. The powers that be took the decision to admit the Glasgow pair after both Portsmouth ceased to exist and Millwall went into administration. The latter were announced to have been demoted to League 1, with the clubs hovering above the relegation places last season making the drop down. The decision has been met with fury around the country, with many managers condemning the decision. Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has been one of the more outspoken managers, saying "I think it's an utterly ridiculous decision. Portsmouth's place in the league should have been given to Huddersfield, no question. And to demote teams who've by all rights survived in a league just to accomodate two teams - one of which was recently in administration I might add - is just wrong. And I don't think I'm the only one who thinks so.

In a shock move, Ian Holloway has left his position as manager of Blackpool Rovers, citing the decision to allow the Old Firm pair of Rangers and Celtic into the Championship. He read a short statement to the press but invited no questions. Later, an open letter was sent to the Blackpool fans apologising for the move, and thanking them for the staunch support they received through their promotion to Premiership, their battle for survival and then subsequent relegation. Holloway wrote, "It is with a heavy heart that I leave you, but I do so with these words - it is not a manager who earns reward, it is the players. They will still continue to give 110% to the cause, and I am confident in them gaining promotion back to the Premiership without my guidance". Fans gathered outside Bloomfield Road in their hundreds to protest at the decision, but it seems there will be no U-Turn. Just weeks before the new season is to begin, Blackpool find themselves managerless in a league which is now a completely different animal.

Since bursting onto the scene, Naylor has impressed a whole host of sides, and many scouts have been to watch him in action.

Now, the latest talk is that Leeds Utd will be making a move for the central defender, this summer.

NK Zagreb is a Croatian football club, from the Croatian capital of Zagreb.

NK Zagreb's home is the Stadion Kranjčevićeva with capacity of 8,850. The club's fans are known as the White Angels (Bijeli Anđeli in Croatian). They are known for their somewhat unique views in the Croatian football supporters scene in that they are strictly opposed to all forms of discrimination (whether it's religious, national, or any other kind), and have a strong anti-hooliganism standpoint.

The nickname of the club is "The Poets" (Pjesnici in Croatian; first mentioned by a radioreporter Ivo Tomić). Kranjčevićeva street, where their stadium is located, is named after Croatian poet Silvije Strahimir Kranjčević.
