Untitled French story to begin start tommorrow... can't decide on a title though.
Not sure any French people on the board will find 'Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys' an appropriate title lol.
I've also gotten into the FM09 save game in my former story 'Gatecrashing The World Footballing Order' after a year away from it... maybe I'll keep the Manager Lounge posted.

I'm writing a (created) player-based story, I think it's an interesting approach and I wanted to do something in Russia, so that's were it will be set. I'm not posting it for a while yet though, I want to build up a larger set of updates. Oh, I might write a 'Forza Italia' style thing for the end of FM10 as well, will probably use Spain but it doesn't need that many updates in it. There aren't a lot of stories in the story section, are there? I'll try and remedy that

From the players perspective? That is interesting. Looking forward to reading that one.

Well... my France story failed after I lost interest quickly.
I may return to FM story-telling soon, just wondering right team and FM. The story title will be 'Confessions of a Megalomaniac' but the right FM and team needs to be thought of.
I'm tempted to do one on FM09 with Lyon or Marseille.

Going to start a game with Real Madrid when FM11 comes out.
Hopefully be able to keep the story running for at least two/three seasons.

Now that stories are starting coming into fashion again, maybe this thread could as well.
Other than the bump, I'll be starting a story, but I'm not sure who to really chose to manage. So any suggestions what Premier League team to pick?

If you ask me you should play as Aston Villa and immediately sign Juan Pablo Angel so you can pretend he never left and that he never broke my heart ...

I`m thinking about writing a story, playing as Italy ( something similar to
this ),I don`t have much time on my hands and national team stories require less time.
I`ve already played 3 seasons though, so I`ll have to set it in the future, but I don`t think it will be a problem.
Anyone interested?

Right guys after coming to a hold on my Nottingham Forest career. I am deciding that I need a new challenge and following downloaded database I can now play other European countries such as Azerbaijan. Following the real life story of Tony Adams being offered a managers position in Azerbaijan and having plenty of money to spend to work with the youth facilities. I was wondering if I was to create this weather anyone would be interested in it.

Weather? It's whether, mate.
But to stop being a grammar nazi and focus on your question, yeah I'd be interested in that.

Ah cba to change it. So if I was to change one of the sides finances but not upgrade facilities or add it to transfer budget or edit rep! So it won't be dead easy? Would it be a worthwhile career. aim to make them big in europe? make the league bigger in europe
