****NOTICE******

I am no longer updating this page.

Visit the Megapack Thread HERE - If you download the Megapack, you will have the best and most recent of all the Team packs ever created!

Team packs will continue being posted here, but if you want to keep them together in this way without using the Megapack, you'll need to manage it yourselves.

I have left all the links below for reference purposes.

READ THIS BEFORE POSTING!
This thread is only for posting Team facepacks and getting feedback. Do not post in here asking for help on how to get the graphics to work or any kinds of requests.

Welcome Community Page

Megapack & Updates Page - HERE (Home of the famous pack contains well over 70,000 images)
Icons Megapack & Updates - HERE (Home of the tiny icons pack)
Facepack Team Requests - HERE (Collect a whole Team's images for cutting)
Individual Requests (missing from Megapack) - HERE (Spotted a blank in-game, request a new MP image)
Improvement Requests (better than Megapack) - HERE (think you've found a better image than in the MP)
Alternative Individual Cutouts - HERE (would rather have a different image than in the MP)
Discussion & Training Thread - HERE (Learn the techniques needed for cutting)

Please respect this request and keep this thread clean as possible. Thank you.

Hey mmanolis. It's a really comprehensive pack, so good work! The only issue is the pictures seem a little pixelated close up, Did you use the sharpen tool without following up with the noise reduction filter? Also there are a couple of images in there without complete cutouts (3505485 & 3504004.)

Aside from those issues it's a lovely pack, and you're definitely heading in the right direction! I hope you don't mind the feedback, it is wicked to get some new designers on board!

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the feedback RowRow I really appreciate it! I did use the sharpen filter without the noise reduction one coz I don't quite like the result I get when I mess around with it... (are there any suggested values for strength and and preserve details? I use PS CS3 extended). And what do you mean about those 2 pics are not complete cut-out? Thank you very much, any advise is welcomed and I would like to help you all people to make our favorite game look better!

ps. You are the best designer by far!

Cheers mmanolis.

I know what you mean about the reduction filter it can make a right mess of things if not set correctly. I have noticed that sometimes it's best not to use the Sharpen tool at all...try loading a test image into the game and check the result before continuing.

If you need to use it, the amount of noise reduction depends a lot on the image you are playing with, but I tend to use the following:
Strength: 8
Preserve Details: 130
Reduce Colour Noise: 20%

It could just be that you have zoomed in too far on an already low quality source image - can you post one of the source images (pre-cutout) and I'll have a look.
Re: the two pics - It's just around their hair where the cut-out isn't quite complete.

PS. When cutting out set the eraser's colour to background, then use eraser set to "Brush" mode and around 5px size (assuming the source image is around 300px sq) to get a nice finish around the edges. (View my video tutorial for what I mean by this)

I got the pics from www.om.net (the official L'OM site) if u want to check the source pics. Now for the noise filter I can't set the preserve details to 130 coz in PS CS3 that value is in % so u can't set it more than 100% !!

Thank u very much for your time and your valuable advises

Hello again everyone.

johnymac requested this one, I'm afraid the source pics weren't as sharp as I would have liked, but looks OK in game:

Hearts
(Scotland Prem.)

Next up: Dnipro (Ukraine) & Besiktas (Turkey)

My next pack should be various argentines. Because I don't know much about that league and it's not a specific team I guess I can use your help by you listing some of the big-names argentines playing in that league ( I know one already, martin palermo )

Sneijder, as Boca and River are already done, it makes sense to go for the next biggest clubs in Argentina next, such as Gimnasia La Plata & Estudiantes, Velez Sarsfield, Independiente, Racing Club...

Then if you wanted go for the teams that have performed well recently (Arsenal di Sarandi, Lanus, Tigre etc) untill the league is filled

Hope that hels give you an idea
