Am I right in thinking that there are some people that create their own patches for the game? If so, how likely is it that there'll end up being a patch out there that I can use on my 8.0.1 game that simply adds the 7 subs rule for the 07/08 Premier League season?

You know you can play with all the fixes in patch 8.0.2 and have the database of 8.0.1 by just selecting that database when starting a new game if thats your problem.

The reason I've asked this is because my problem in using the 8.0.2 patch is that no matter what database I use it down grades EVERY player in the games stats (all of their stats) by atleast 1 rating (though mainly 2), so unless I edit every player in the game then everyone is far worse than they should be, so I won't be using the 8.0.2 patch.

Do what I said and when starting a new game choose to start with the 8.0.1 patch it will STILL include all fixes from patch 8.0.2.

Tbf, if everyone was to stay on the same stats then it'd be ridiculously easy to score seeing as they've made it easier to score.

And if everyone goes down by 1 or 2 then it works out the same anyway, doesn't it?
