Just a couple of points from this request:

Elixir - we are trying to eliminate the Blurred cut from the megapack, so although my way takes longer, that's the style of cut we are aiming for in the Megapack, hope that's ok.

joze - Remember - 3 image request limit. - Also SI get access to Higher quality versions of these images for FM11, so it may be worth while waiting for release before we end up re-cutting all the championship (and lower) clubs.....

Indeed, but we can often repair, and if they're not any good, we can always tackle the images then.

(Although whoever cuts Reading for SI has always been awful..)

Surely. With CS5 and some high resolution images it's hard to screw up a cut-out

I use Adobe Photoshop Version: 12.0 and cutting all the pics with refine edges option

Version 12 is included in CS5 right?

I'm using CS4 (version 11.0.) Simply using the extraction plug-in on the hair, then burn tool to eliminate the left over green hue on the hair. Followed by a 180px crop, then Smart Sharpen set to around 20. then using old-school Eraser set to 5 around the face, neck & shirt and any "noise" left around hair. I then clean up the presice bits with eraser set to 2. Followed by checking the image on white & black backgrounds.

Jobs a good 'un.


(although the Howard image didn't work with extraction, so I just employed old school eraser for the whole thing)
