This is a really good story, well presented and really interesting. I've just bought a new Football manager player as my old one struggled with the last two. Just waiting for it to arrive and then I can start a career with Spurs and try and do as well as you seem to be doing. Pato seems to be invaluable.
Great work keep it up

Harden takes over in Ivory Coast
by Ronald McDonald, 23/02/2009

Posted Image
Halilhodzic lead the Ivorians through a poor African Cup of Nation

Tottenham Hotspur boss Nicholas Harden has taken over Vahid Halilhodzic as the manager of the Ivory Coast National Team.

Halilhodzic was sacked by the Ivorian FA after Ivory Coast's poor run in the African Cup of Nations. Harden's first game will be a friendly against Iraq before another friendly against Costa Rica. His first competitive game in charge will be against England in the opening fixture of the 2010 World Cup on June 12th in Johannesburg.

Many pundits are suggesting that his lack of French may cause a slow start to the campaign. In a press conference at Stade Felix-Houphouet-Boigny Harden said “I beg to differ. I have already got well known backroom staff who will be helping me in the short term, I no my basic’s its just a matter of getting more in depth with the language and communicating with in the best possible way with the players.”

*Notes; An average start. Disappointed with the Bristol City result, Palacios was transfer listed per request and once he was bought, i realised that i needed to lose a midfielder and fortunately Wigan swopped in and brought Huddlestone. Looking promising for the Ivory Coast, been drawn in a group with Botswana, Mauritius and Equatorial Guinea.

*Notes; A fantastic month. Unbeaten month, still 7 pts behind Arsenal in the league but despite that we are through to the Carling Cup Final against Arsenal and are through to the FA Cup 5th Round, after a somewhat fortunate result against Arsenal, where we face a trek to face Sunderland. Managed to bring in Israel Rodriquez, looks like he has bags of potentiat, there is a screenshot.

Rodrigues looks a real talent, he lacks a bit of pace but other than that appears to have the potential to be a top winger for you.

Some great results in the last few months, you reall seem to be riolling over sides- Only Arsenal have an annoying habit of nicking narrow wins against you.

Keep it up.

Thanks for the comment Hibee, Arsenal are the only team that when I play I think I will lose, United, Chelsea and Liverpool are all gradually slipping down the pan but, Arsenal seem to be getting stronger and its quite annoying :(

*Notes; An average month. Started off with a disappointing result against Manchester City. We have more or less lost the title race to Arsenal :( 11 pts behind with 11 to play, I cant see Arsenal dropping 11 points. I was offered the Juventus job just after the Man City game which I declined, we play them in the next round of the Champions League before a trip to Wembley :delighted:
