The "Big" Three showed a good deal of chemistry. Now hopefully the other lines can figure out how to contribute, especially Plekanec and the Kostitsyns.

We still beat you though. Sans Kessel.
Did you catch that game? How did our young goalie Rask do? I like him better than Tim Thomas, he isn't a miserable bastard.

I missed that one unfortunately. If he managed to keep the Habs shooters at bay he must be something brilliant ;)

Peter Forsberg might be making a comeback to the NHL, he's played 2 games in Sweden this season and looked good, seems like his foot that has been troubling him the past few years has healed to such an extent that he can play hockey.

Season opener tonight, at least for us. We have the Caps. Hoping to at least force an overtime. Pre-season hasn't left me brimming with confidence. We've played well and then just fallen apart in the 3rd on a few occaisions.

4-1 Caps over the Bruins midway through the 3rd period. Bruins looking wholly unimpressive tbh, didn't look like they were even in the game until the 3rd period. Too little too late though.

F*cking Redwings fan.
No, we never start too well. Takes us a while to get up to speed. Won't be worrying too much until November. Worth mentioning that we sucked against Caps last season too iirc. :D

Oh, Savvy.
I've decided he's my favourite athlete ever. 3-0 up against the Canes.

Not a good start to the season that. Neither have the two games we've played. I didn't get to see them but looking at box scores and reading about them we've been outplayed something ugly both times.

Still top of the Adams, regardless. If you're winning on poor performances then at least you're not wasting points. Having said that, you did only manage two scrappy OT wins against the two weakest teams in our division and if yesterday was anything to go by, you haven't got long to up your game before we swallow you up and Calgary/Vancouver are no pushovers.

Anaheim, Islanders and Avs at home next three games. Three wins on paper.

In other news, I want one of them bottle coolers they've been pushing on the NHL sites. Oh, and I want the Winter Classic jersey. :D

Watching Montreal v. Calgary right now. We're looking pretty decent. Hopefully they can keep it up, especially on Saturday when I get to watch them play the Oil in Edmonton.

Scratch that: Mtl is getting outshot something ugly yet again

I've just read your predictions, how the flip are the Flyers not making the playoffs, but the Devils and Rangers are? Geddouddahere!

I think they'll start well then sort of slope off. Kind of like Montréal did last season.

We're stonger then we were last season, and we've missed the playoffs once in the past 15 seasons. We'll be in there, no sweat
