Is there a particular piece of software to use when editing the XML file?

I've been editing it in Text Edit on a Mac.

Deleted the background widget for the progress panel and reloaded the skin, also tried reloading the game.

Still getting the grey screen during progress. Such a shame because the skin is beautiful in literally every other aspect other than that grey background. I just can't seem to get rid.

Great work on the skin though, I'll be using this until FM 2011.

Figured it out myself...after 2,5 hours of searching Google...

Sorry for double post, but I have put this skin in my game and now, when I open FM, it loads slower than it had to. It's because of the skin? I have put another skin and the game loaded easier. Anyone knows how to fix this?

You have too small screen resolution. Change to 1440x900.

Nothing to do with the resolution, just right click on the menubar (where all the icons are) and you can show or hide whichever ones you want to.

Hey guys, great skin btw Tom, best one I have used since good old Elegance/2 on '05, '06.

I would like some advice to whether, firstly, what I want is possible and secondly, how it could be done if it is at all possible, so I will explain as clearly as I can...

The Tactics / Touchline Shout buttons that are available on the 2d/3d match screens, is it possible to also have them showing when that particular highlight event has ended and it reverts back to the 'Information' match screen which shows the scores, goalscorers, red cards etc.

Just pop the contents of the attached zip file into the panels folder of the skin, and reload the skin.

Sadly, no. I did try to do it when I was developing the skin, but the buttons didn't want to work (some things on FM only work in very specific places, unfortunately)

I was also wondering if there is any way to change the order of the information that is below the Players Picture.
Is it possible to change it to having Wages and Value on the row which is currently their height and what foot they use.

Yeah Steklo skin is THE best one to use, i hope also he brings the 2011 version out soon, just wish SI would sort that sh*tty white skin out its so damn awful.
