Got rid of the Team info, was doing my head in scrolling down. :D I'll add some other stuff though, but not as much.

Steve Coppell with his first signing as Bristol City manager.

Albert Adomah from Barnet, pacy right winger. Claridge gave him a glowing report back when he was at Barnet, although I'm not sure if I can take anything from that.

Last seasons thread was better. Anyway we have signed Lewis Chalmers from Aldersot, never heard of him.

Looks like Jose Baxter is joining Oldham on a season-long loan. Should be interesting to see how he does.

We signed Andy Griffin permanently yesterday which is superb news. Definitely became a cult hero in his stay last year and now we have him we don't lack any cover.

Right?
Brightons online ticket thing is so annoying. Can't get a membership for away games. Can't really afford a season ticket either. :( I think maybe I'll get a half season ticket at Christmas if I can scare up some cash.
Anyways, looks like Poyet is going to sign Kishishev. Fine, but we need a striker.

So we've signed Liam Dickinson, and apparently Jay McEveley has turned down Leeds to join us. Is Dickinson really as bad as people are making out? (Question mainly aimed at PA, and TM.)

P.S. This new thread is ape. Get it back to general banter, and get rid of all the pointless statistical sh*t.

Dicko wasn't a bad player, just unlucky to be used as a target man when he certainly isn't one. Goalscorer, pure and simple, fed off scraps and did all right. Unfortunately he's been at bobbins teams who can't provide him with chances, by and large.

If he gets chances, he'll score goals. As a young lad he'll improve.

f*ck bottom already.

We've signed two guys I don't really know much about. Tom Aldred from Carlisle, apparently he was a hot prospect and got pissed off at a poor contract offer. Dunno how much yet, it's going to tribunal I think.

Also Rene Gilmartin, Walsall's keeper. Again no idea if he's any good, but can't go wrong with a first choice keeper coming in as backup, or to challenge Loach (who i'd rather sell for some cash if we can).

We really need some signings, particularly some loan stars again this season or we'll be down. We only have one striker at the moment. We have some highly (and poorly) rated kids as well but we'll never stay up if we don't get a striker and a midfielder to replace player of the season Cleverly.

TM, would you hurry up and get promoted also

Much rather you were in the same league as Leeds than Millwall.

Leeds have made some quality signings imo, would like Hooper though to play with Becchio

Meh. He was fine just a bit inconsistent. That might've been down to a massive instability in our team before Poyet got settled, there was a lot of uncertainty between people who expected to be first team starters. But he had a good finish on him, like Mr. Huddersfield said he's pretty good when you've got a creative midfield who are getting the ball forward.

So, we've closed in on the signing of Hugo Colace. Any good Ad?

Good signing. Started off as a holding midfielder who couldn't score to save his life, but when Robins came in he pushed him forward a little and he ended up with around 8 goals for the season. Deservedly won our player of the season award, even though some fans claim he can't tackle.

We all knew he was leaving, but it's a bit disappointing that he's gone to a fellow Championship club after giving off all this 'homesick' bullsh*t.
