Metropolitan Man Challenge - Aussie Style

Basically Im starting unemployed but with full rep and badges and am only going to take a job at one of the clubs listed below no matter how long that takes to become available. Clubs underlined are ones I have managed at.

And the rules i am using are as follows,

City Slicker- start as a club in one of these seven geographical locations, and try to win all seven Champion’s Leagues without managing a club outside of those geographical constraints. This becomes harder and harder if you start to amass blots on your CV, because you’ll find that when you limit the job market to specific geographical zones, it becomes nearly impossible to be recruited.

No Dynasties- it can be tempting after you’ve won your first Champion’s League to start building a dynasty within your city, especially if you’re in one of the lesser divisions and have had to work especially hard to conquer Europe. The ‘No Dynasty’ rule means that once you won the Champion’s League with a club, you have to enjoy those news messages about how awesome you are, pack up your things and immediately resign.

Athens- Ilioupoli, Kallithea, Ethnikos Asteras, Panionios, Atromitos, AEK Athens, Panathinaikos, Olympiakos

Berlin- FC Union Berlin, Hertha Berlin

Moscow- FC Spartak Moscow, Lokomotiv Moscow, Dynamo Moscow, CSKA Moscow, Torpedo Moscow

St Petersburg- FC Zenit St Petersburg, Petrotest, Dynamo St Petersburg

Rome- Roma, Lazio

Winning!!!

Well I have my first job!!

Not really sure why the previous manager for the sack but anyway it's good for me and a nice position to make a push for the title.

Just noticed the financials are not in the best shape so will have to be careful

Knocked out of the europa league before I started finishing 3rd in the group so that must be why he got the sack however the group included bayer leverkusen and southampton lol

Also quite a few familiar names in the squad including michael essian and goalkeeper luke steele.

I will now be posting monthly updates just with the results and league table and any other news I deem worthy such as transfers etc

Thanx. I doubt I will even win one with any of these clubs however as long as I will some titles and stuff I'll be happy

So transfers first and well um not much happened lol I had offers of 5.2 mil for berg from Newcastle, and about 700k from levente for Lagos both were turned down as for now I would like to see what the squad is capable of.

Started to hit some nice form towards the end of the month. A complete change of tactics allowed us to turn around the previous loss vs out arch rivals and keep in touch on top of the ladder.

The month was going great until we put in a shocker vs the bottom club but still 6 games left can we pull of a massive upset and stop olympiakos winning their 5th straight title?

Other News

We have had a request for more payroll accepted which is great news as now we can hang onto steele and other key players in our squad. payroll has been increased from 350k to 390k

Doing a great job so far, Berg is in top form. KUTGW looking good for the title on current form!

I am loving Berg he is killing it for me hopefully it continues I'm glad i rejected the offer from Newcastle.

Berg has 16 goals for the season so far which is outstanding

Well a decent month but a very bad loss in the last match vs AEK Athens As well berg has gone down with a 7 week injury

It's almost ours!! Three games left and barring a major collapse I will have won my first bit of silverware

hahaha no hope I suck in europe or agaisnt bigger clubs hahaha At this stage I'll just try to do best I can and defend out title in the league
