Good result that. How's MGP doing? Saw he was an unused sub tonight.

Southampton could quite conceivably go out next week. Wouldn't be great having them and West Ham already out before the group stage!

Indeed! Apparently their mad man of a president has decided to sack two of the players as a result of tonight's loss, lol.

MGP is just back from a four month groin injury. Signed by our previous coach, I'm guessing his days at the club are numbered by the end of this season. Hasn't got much to offer in our 4-3-3 system.

Some tricky draws for the British teams.

Meh, not happy with ours. They are all good sides and they won't attract the biggest of crowds.

Well, you called it.

Given that England's coefficient is in danger of being overtaken by Italy, its hardly a promising start.

Newcastle would get slaughtered if we got ourselves knocked out like that.

Molde beating Fenerbahce away from home, that's quite something.

3-1 as well. Molde (7th in Tippeligaen) beating the league leaders of Turkey - maybe we're not so bad as a nation after all. Van Persie was awful yet again.

Would have taken an away draw against St. Etienne before our game tonight, but obviously not happy to lose the lead in the 87th minute - especially as it came on a penalty. All in all it was deserved though. 2-2 FT.

Rose with a shocker of a performance, but luckily none of their players know how to finish. Lamela was crap again although did actually score in the end.

Liverpool are desperately poor at the moment. Rodgers needs to go.

FIVE things you didn't know about Celtic's Europa League opponents Molde

They gave the world ‘arse football’

Honestly, they did! This actually came from Nils Arne Eggen, the legendary Rosenborg coach who was known for playing attractive, attacking football. But, a bit like Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, when teams shut up shop or played ‘dirty’ it always upset him. He turned his sights on Molde after one cup tie in the Nineties. “Arse football might not be the best translation,” explained our man in Norway, “s***ty football is probably more accurate!”

We're playing a pretty weakened Lazio in Rome in 30 minutes time. Three points would be good, thankyou!

Fantastic goal from Devic at Anfield just now.

Fiorentina & Basel losing at home a bit of a shock tonight.

Apparently Blackett had a shocker?

Not surprising, because he's awful, but a shame all the same.

He had a shocker indeed and he was even subbed off after he'd come on early in the 1st half. Probably the weakest Celtic side I've ever seen.

We're 2-0 down at home to Lazio and playing awful.

Ballsy move from Pochettino tonight, fielding a near full strength team in Azerbaijan just 3 days before we play Chelsea.

Sturridge out again with another new injury, actually getting to a point where we may as well just terminate his contract he's injured that often

Strange goal that Liverpool conceded tonight, don't think I've seen that rule enforced before - a rule is a rule though, 21 seconds is a long time to hold it!

I have to admit I am loving this Spurs side this season. A good work rate and some decent English talent, hoping they win some silverware this season! Got to have a decent chance in the Europa League even with some big teams dropping down. I think their potential achilles heel in the competition will be the board/manager's ambitions...the Champions League spots may mean the Premier League becomes their priority during the Europa League knockout rounds.

We could just try and win the Europa League. That's silverware and CL football in one go and its about time we actually won something.

Oh and 3-0, Lamela with all three

I agree, but it is probably more financially beneficial to finish fourth and is probably seen as less risky than an European cup run! Would love to see Spurs or Liverpool win it though!
