Needed a 'complete forward' and he fitted the bill perfectly really, he's clearly going to be a great player so should be money well spent. Also as you know from my previous games over the years i never read and player guides or wonderkid lists etc. Obviously Martial is very well known but the vast majority of any transfers i make are just through scouting.
Next season i'm gonna offer a high win bonus for all comps and see if that makes a difference as its the only thing i can possibly think of that is effecting results.
Have spent a little money on new players for January, had one 'big' signing fall through due to the prick turning me down for Man Utd and another (aging striker) would only sign if i made him an u18's coach, he didn't actually wanna play for me and for £7.5m i thought that was a little pricey for a coach

Winner, though its backfired as for some reason Martial is unavailable when i try to tutor him ffs
Highlight of the 2 months was VP's equaliser at Old Trafford (he also scored on his debut too).

Martial will be very difficult to find a tutor for as I imagine - by now especially - his reputation is very high. The tutor needs to have a higher reputation that the tutee (is that a word?)

Out of all the cups now (obviously) but still going well in the league.
Highlight of the two months was Gibbs turning into Roberto Carlos for a couple of games.

Very disappointed to lose the league in the last few games and even more so considering we lost 4 games less... Will be moving on some of the older faces and giving the youngsters a real go this season coming. Have one player joining so far but that's on a free, only have a budget of £313m too

Decent start to the season, naturally lost our opening CL game but did progress in the league cup. As you can see just the two players coming in as i look to put my own mark on the team. Average age is now just 23 and that includes Koscienly (32) and Cech who is now 35.

Yeah it is, finances are brilliant really but wage budget is terrible and the board won't increase it so can't even renew any contacts at the moment...

Still going along slowly, updates will be less frequent now though as don't get so much time to play
As I had Gotze coming I didn't need them both add would have pushed another younger further away from the first team. Didn't expect to see him back in England a year later though ffs.

Actually made it through my CL group this season but have not faired so well in the league, that final result against Man Utd actually made me furious

Finished second by some way to Man Utd and the only trophy i managed was the FA Cup, transfers for season 5 below.

Managed to narrow the problem down to me not being able to use any downloaded skins for some reason? I've never had a problem before but it seems to do it with and skin i install... I have started a new save with Arsenal but doubt i'll make a new story/update thread for it as it'll just bore you all to death!
