HELP............!

Hi everyone.
I was wondering if anyone could help me as I'm having a little trouble with some editing issues for Football Manager 2014.
I have recently downloaded the live data update, and have since made a few adjustments-1 transfer of which has been done on the data editor but for some reason when I start a game the player is on the free transfers list? Any ideas how I can change this to his new club? I have tried the usual ways with the data editor but it doesn't seem to alter? Is there something I am not doing? (just for note the player is Mike Havenaar - Japanese striker who has signed for Cordoba C.F in La Liga)
Also, re editing, I was also wondering how I can get my club logo's to show up in the game - I have got all the club logo's downloaded from previous FM's and just reuse them year after year but for some reason I have a handful of teams that the logo's wont showup on, even though they are there in my downloaded folder? I have noticed that it is a few teams that have recently been promoted/relegated on the editor? Elche, Athletic Bilbao, Cordoba C.F just to name a few off top of my head.
Please if anyone knows how I can rectify this or has had/has the same problem could you please let me know. Many thanks. Stiffler69

hello mate. have you created an, "editor data" file?

Hiya there.
Yeah I have created all the relevant files, ie, the editor data files and all of the logo files.
All of the other logos seem to be working its just the odd few that don't seem to load up for some reason. I wondered if it was because the teams have been promoted and obviously altered in the editor. As for the editor itself I have since updated a few players transfers and they have all seemed to work, its just the one I mentioned above that doesn't want to work. Puzzling.

You need to make that edit in the Basefile, not the data file.

I've added this into the online editor too
