Kitpack not working for CL matches?

Anyone else have this problem. I'm playing as Dortmund and have downloaded the SS and 3D Bundesliga kitpacks in the downloads section here. In league matches they work fine but in European play I get a generic yellow kit, both the 2D picture and in the 3D match engine. Anyone have any clue what the matter is?

In real life, Dortmund have a different kit they use in the Champions League to the one they use in the Bundesliga. This is reflected in the FM database, naturally. However, the config files do not permit the displaying of different custom-made kits depending on the competition and during CL matches, the kit will therefore default to the generic FM kit colours and styles.
