100 Best Capped Players For Under £1m

If you're a skinflint like me and like trawling the bargain bucket for hidden gems, then this list is for you. Here are my own personal favourites that you can definitely pick up for £1m or less at the start of a new game. I have listed them in positional order. GOALKEEPERS




okay, im gunna start strongly here with Romero. he was installed as Argentina's number one under Maradonna. The world cup keeper can be yours for around £1m with a bit of careful negotiating. absolute bargain!

this Helsingborg regular can be picked up for around the £1m mark also. cracking stats. third choice for the national side.

this tall young Norwegian stopper can be yours for well under a million.

it will take some negotiation skills, but I don't think you will be too disappointed with young Heinz for a million. especially considering his high handling and reflexes

was frequently used during euro 2012 before a lengthy injury. made the world cup squad but didn't get a game. can be yours for a real bargain price.

Liverpool fans may remember this keeper for the wrong reasons, but since then he has established himself as Cameroons number one during the world cup and he can be yours for peanuts!

DR's (RIGHT BACKS)



this solitary capped Juve Italian full back can be yours for well under his £1m value.

offer a lot less than the face value for this Czech full back. he has some good all round stats.

I've been a big fan of scotts for a while. especially considering he is English! pick him up for around £1m.

probably my favourite DR here. brilliant stats and an absolute steal if you can sign him.

got fond memories of cornel from an old Leverkusen save 2 or 3 years ago. good stats for a knock down price.

this Norwegian lad will cost nearer the £1m mark but I think you will agree that he is worth it.

this Portuguese international is cheaper than a tuppenny whore! narrowly missed out going to Brazil.

loyal to rangers but still cheap and brilliant.

not so long ago top clubs were looking at safari. a good choice for those on a budget.

part of the Greek squad for Brazil. a capable but temperamental full back. yours for a few magic beans.

been around the block this full back but still has some great stats. I think he starts as transfer listed so happy days!

been at Molde forever this guy but you can get him for next to nothing. fast with good tackling.

I think if I looked down the back of my sofa for small change, even I could afford this very capable left back.

DC's (CENTRAL DEFENDERS)



stump up a lot less than the face value for this experienced French stopper and it will be small change well spent.

absolutely cracking this fella. plus he's part French. get in there quickly!

a solid defender here who is no stranger to British shores. will defo get a WP due to being part French.

not worked out as well as it should have for this lad, but his stats have definitely increased. at this price, he is worth a punt.

admittedly I don't know too much about this guy, but if you can get him for under £1m then it will be money well spent IMO.

Uruguay stopper with some formidable stats. look no further for a strong leader type for well under a million.

I'm spoiling you now with these butch 30 year old experienced capped internationals with brilliant stats...

a strong, steady performer who can be yours for under £1m. very narrowly missed out on Brazil.

what's this? yet another 30 year old ready made experienced international DC who can do a good job for well under a million? no surely not...

anyone who has played FM for a few years will know all about this lad. still looks brilliant in FM15 and is cheap as a tramps chips.
