FM 14 Contract Problem

Wasn't sure where to place this topic, as I am 100% sure the FM 14 forum is dead.

My problem lies with the fact that none of my players, either young or old, will sign contracts more than 2-3 years in advance, and won't change this despite salary increases and clauses.

Is this solely due to my reputation, as I am sure it is?

What team are you managing? Never had this problem myself.

FC Twente, I'm currently top of the Eredivisie. Even youth players reject contracts of over 2 years.
