DC needed

Hey guys, just started to play with Lyon. Since Bisevac is going to be injured for the next few months, I have only 3 DC's, I have about 3,5 M € and I'm having trouble finding a good center back for that kind of money. Any suggestions?

largely a flop at Southampton after major scouser interest. but he still has good stats and can be yours for under the £3.5m.

major interest from west ham and everton for this big Anderlecht enforcer who can also do a job in midfield. very cheap in game with some good stats.

very closely monitored by arsenal and could be a natural answer to the Vermaelen shaped hole left in their defence. has all the attributes of a quality DC at a reasonable price.

godfrey was handed a trail by arsenal in 2013 after a great African cup of nations but failed to impress. despite that, he has made steady progress in turkey and can be yours for a very reasonable price.

heavily impressed for costa rica and was almost signed by sunderland on the back of it. despite this, he continues to ply his trade in Belgium and can be picked up for a very reasonable sum.

Mario has been a big part of Sparta Prague's defensive set up for a while and probable hasn't won as many caps as he should have. but there is no getting away from the fact that he has some great stats FM wise and for a very cheap price.

now we are becoming obscure! I love this DC. Juan has some lovely all round stats and also is half Spanish so a WP isn't a problem. just needs a decent team to give him a chance, and at around £2.5m yeah he's worth a shout!

very fast Cameroon DC. part of the world cup squad. can be picked up for his face value.

absolutely awesome stats for this Peru international based in Germany. yours for well under the £3.5m and money well spent in my opinion!

this Danish international DC was recently snapped up by Brentford for a club record fee and its easy to see why.

Get the scouts going lad, great habit to get into. With that type of budget I'd be looking in France, Holland, Belgium, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and potentially North America. You'll find some tidy options at CB with a lot of variety and at that point you can decide as to whether you want a younger CB to sell on, a CB in his prime, a CB just over the hill or a CB who will be a 1 season option due to his age.

And if that search brings up nothing, widen the net. South America, Switzerland, Greece, Spain, South Africa and a few Northern African countries (depending on your DB size)
