Sid Lowe made the point on Football Weekly that the gap between Barcelona and Real Madrid and the rest of the pack would grow even bigger this season as so many of the other sides lost their star men - Malaga lost Isco, Atletico lost Falcao, Socieded lost Illarramendi, Betis lost Benat, Valencia lost Soldado and Sevilla lost Negredo and Navas. Quite a depressing time for Spanish football.

Am I the only one disappointed to see it finish at just 7-0? If I was Barca's manager I'd have wanted them to keep scoring and score as many as they could. I suppose you can't complain after a 7-0 win though.
