Italia 1990

This looks really good, but i'm not too sure what it actually is? Have you just added all the World Cup players from that year or have you changed all teams, leagues etc?

One of my favourite all time footballing memories is of Italia 90. Im trying to recreate 1990 as much as i can from all over the world so i do admit this is forever an ongoing project. I have tried to re create the footballing world as it was in the build up to Italia 90 as realistically as possible so many things have been edited in the game. The European Cup, UEFA Cup & European Cup Winners Cup have all been brought back. Previous Nations and National Leagues such as Czechoslovakia and the USSR have been recreated. Trying to recreate as many club and national sides to the player rosters they had back in the build up to that years world cup.

Ah ok, how much of England have you managed to change mate?

Done most of the Premiership and First Division but there are many teams i simply cant get info on from 89/90. Still working on it tho

Yeah i'd imagine its very difficult, shame as this could be really popular with us oldies

If you download it and see any missing players or improvements let me know and ill update it. Pretty much working on it all the time so feedback is always welcome, good or bad

Indeed it was, but we massively overachieved, from what i've seen so far it all looks fine. You've done a massive amount of work here and i think its brilliant.

Does need a couple of changes for the Prem though, swap Chelsea, Swansea, Stoke and West Brom for Newcastle, Norwich, Luton and Middlesbrough

Believe it or not there where some very surprising teams in the First Division that year (Before it became the Premiership!)

excellent Db not to keen on the skin a bit of a strain on the eyes!! a few pics missing which would make a big difference, only one problem i've come across so far game cashes half way through first year? or is that just me?.............having said that i almost spent 2 whole days just checking out or the players, you have done a brilliant job, i forgot how good some of them really was!!...... back in them days you really had to set your team up well , i love and hate the 3 foreigner rule in equal measure because there was so much talent back then!!.........keep it going

What crash are you getting? Ive played it for a long time and its not crashed yet. If im being honest ive put this db in the back burner for a while. I really need to get my FM head back on and update it again

I've sussed it just don't click on Neville Southall and it wont crash!!......for some reason i cant view him at all? weird? like i said before tho excellent Db

Great work on this database, I think it's the first one of these I have ever finished a season with actually. A few weird things, though. I came second in the league behind Arsenal even though we were equal on points and I have way better goal difference. And only one team got relegated out of the 20 in the league. Surely mistakes, no?

brilliant work. I did notice tho it is better set up for 1989/1990. So after a lot of extensive work I have changed all the player DOB to make them 1 yr younger and set the english leagues for the 89/90 season. I also added more players in the english leagues. The only issues I found was with the extra country editor you added I can't use the english one but it doesn't matter because I have done it in the database anyway and I started as Liverpool and I was in every european cup(which didn't really bother me either). Great work!!!!!!!!!

Ive been having a lot of trouble with the db lately, I'm pulling my hair out! The db was working fine until recently but now when i load a new game and select Everton for some reason the game crash dumps. I even went to the extent of deleting Everton and recreating them as a brand new team and it still happens!! Anyone got any cures or suggestions???? Thanks

There are some players from golden USSR in Ukranian national team...
also there are some unfamiliar teams in Eur.Cups from unknow nations members for the season 1990

The db has had a lot of work done to it. Its not perfect by any means. If anyone wants to help with editing i am more than happy. My knowledge of Eastern European teams and South American teams from that era is very limited.

Hi, how much of Italy have you got done? in the 90s the stadiums were packed with supporters, not like they are now lol.
