I am abit behind time with the fm07 updates, becuase i was hooked on my other games on 7.0.0. Anyway started my first game on 7.0.2 as Arsenal. I had a look around at new players i wanted to sign and players i wanted to get rid off and designed a new tactic to fit my players. Here are my signings in and out some people might not agree with them but they should do the job i need. Reason for the 2 metz gk's read alot things on them being good on here:)




Anyway i decided for my tactic i wanted to be free playing but not leave my team open at the back, this is the system i come up with



I've set my goalkeeper to distribute to the right back because i dont believe in smashing the tits off of the ball from the goalkeeper and hoping for the best.

My full backs have the freedom to roam and support my wingers. I have set both my wingers and full backs to cross from the byline to the center as i believe its more effective then crossing from deep. If they are to lose the ball my defensive midfielders and centerbacks should be more then enough cover to defend any counter attack.

The idea is that denilson and lucas are set more defensively with closing down on to the maximum so they are my ball winners. When they get the ball they should have many options to choose from, but more than likely pass it to fabregas who is my playmaker. Fabregas will then have many options to pass the ball with the wingers, to the striker and also to have a crack himself.

Wingers are there just to give options for Fabregas to pass to and break down the wings to provide Henry with goalscoring opportunities.

But the most suprising thing about this tactic is Henry scoring antics im only in january and he has already scored 51 goals this season. I've never seen anything like it before tbh as you can see from the screenie he scoring in all comps even internationals:)



Ive only made one change to the tactic from when made it i made Fabregas's passing shorter as he was only at 80% compared to normally on my games closer to 90%

Also posession wise you should have around 55 - 60 % from my results

Also there is a corner tactic im trying out not gonna lie not most effective hehe but the default one never scores does it:)

Obviously if ya winning put timewasting on after 75 +mins

So give it a go and leave your feedback ive only tried this with arsenal but ive only lost one game so far this season and im top:)

haha my robocop had his jaw broken in 3 places ouch:( and is now being called robocop for his metal plates hehe.

I'll try it out with Hibernian, I will begin with my second leg against Shakhter Karagandy but I know that'll prove nothing because they are not that good.

I'm going to use Shiels in midfield (CM) until I find another one.

This tactic is the bomb..really! I tried it with my Arsenal team in 2 friendlies between the season (4-1 w Sparta Prague and 5-0 w Anderlecht both away)..and man I couldn't believe how well the team plays. I tested a lot of tactics before, but this is the best one so far. Try this and you won't regret it. Henry is scoring like a madman, and the playmaker (in my case, Van der Vaart) only get 8,9 and 10's. I will report later with screenshots. Also, I get total domination every game on every area (possesion, team passing (75-80% per game), tackling and most important crosses completed - every game the percent is between 40-60% - and I couldn't get that with any other tactic). :thup:

Yes, it could be..could be a tactic made for Henry:P He's the best player in the game so he should have a tactic to mach that:P I also have Lucas in the midfield, Vaan der Vaart as playmaker and Fabregas. I have the perfect midfield for this tactic. I would post screens later :thup:

try changing the index.php to index.tac and when u load up game it should show the tactic

I am milan and the defence is brilliant still haven't conceded in Europe and in the league I haven't lost and have the best defensice record in the league!

Brilliant tactic helps with defence which has never been my strong point!

Started to use this with my Boca team after a disappointing Apertura. Hopefuly the Clasura will be better with this. Good so far in a few friendlys, even though they were against inferior teams. Riquelme works brilliantly as my playmaker.

Im sitting top of the league and im doin well in the Libertadores. The games i lost and the draw were because i got a bit complacent with my team selection, rested a few players etc. So far so good!

Hey mate so far i'm loving this tactic, my only problem with it is that at times a good counter attacking team will tear me to shreds, interestingly though it's my wingers doing the job for me at a goal agame each not my striker,

How are they scoring i noticed on my game they attack late at back post from a cross from the other. Guzman and RvP both had good scoring records for me but nowhere near henry. What team are you playing with mate?

I'm Atletico, i finshed 3rd after i started i was 6th - 7th at Xmas, was really with style of play and how certain players were playing like Torres and Anderson in the playmaker role after i retrained him. Torres can be a bit of a scatter gun at times, but he won the Spainish & World Player of the year awards and finshed the season at basiclly a goal a game. all in all very happy the tactic brought a consistancy to my form that wasn't there with my Diamond Formation

2nd season i replaced Luccin and Maniche with Lucas and Javi Martinez and my form went to sh*te, the won thing i noticed was that my whole team couldn't hit a pass the highest pass rate was 77% and my goal keeper Franco only at 59%, was sitting aslow as 17-18th for a bit a few player lost the faith, but have turned it around to a point a win of thirsd now and Lucas and Martinez slowly coming good, and Torres starting to score more regulary in the league.
Honestly i don't think my 2 signings should have made that much difference they are better than who they replaced comfortably.

Also i only ever conseed goals from balls over the top of my back four either out wide over the FBs to their wingers to cross in or over centrally, yet this is the deepest defence i've ever played with it's confusing basiclly because it wasn't happening last season.
