Usually get the error when something didn't fully download. Did you download via torrent or rapidshare links? Download 7Zip and try it with that

OK I'm confused now. read first 3 pages. But basically the opening post tells up to download Megapack Version 2 then update it with 2.1, 2.2, 2.3.

Now does 2.3 contain 2.1, 2.2? Or do we have to download them separately? Bit confused on this, was asked earlier but didn't see it answered.

Also what is 1.4, 1.5 packs that is being posted? What are those? Are those suppose to go in to the megapack version 2?

There seems to be quite alot of threads being made of cut outs that I am confused if I am suppose to download them or if there are old or not being accepted in the megapack.

I'm a bit confused on the name of the pack I think a more orderly name should be give like FM2010 Megapack. FM2010MPV1, FM2010MPV2, FM2010MPV3 etc. So I know what is what and what order at the moment people are posting things randomly that I don't even know if I should download or if there will be added to the megapack updates?

-Ignore 1.4, 1.5 etc thats the old Megapack V1
-Ignore the bits about 2.1, 2.2 at the moment as they havent been released - thats for future reference
-All the threads have their purpose so cuts dont get mixed up - read the first post of each so you know the differences

so it has been downloaded at 100% in utorrent or similar program then extracted it should contain 55k pictures i downloaded it that way.

EDIT: i have read your problems open the RAR file and at the bottom on winRAR it should say how many files are in the RAR when u look in the faces folder.

Then let me know

below is info from a post of mine: 694

This is my latest info i have found out might help a fair few of you.

If the RAR/ZIP file becomes corrupt or says it is at the end of the archive then follow these steps:

1. Alt + R or:
1. Open the RAR/ZIP file
2. Click on Tools
3. Repair Archive
4. Choose the folder where you want the rebuilt RAR/ZIP file to be saved.
5. Choose the RAR option for RAR and ZIP for ZIP
6. Click OK.
7. Once done you should have a RAR/ZIP folder with the name of the folder and rebuilt. at start.

Example:
Original File: Players.RAR
Repaired File: rebuilt.Players.RAR

I hope this info helps some of you when you have had a problem with the RAR/ZIP file especially if its a large file

Why are 1.4 1.5 being posted in the Megapack 2 thread?

Are the MP 1.4 1.5 FM2009?

v1 was the first MP we released so please ignore it, we're making update 2.1 and this will be posted on this thread when we have checked them over.

Why can't people read!!! I stated 2.1 is yet to be released. And I have deleted all info from Version 1 from the first page. Why is it so confusing?

Just seems people post questions without trying to figure things out in their heads first....and I must confess it's driving me away from the threads (both here and SI forums) thanks mufckingud7 for having such patience.

I realise this is because we are becoming victims of us own success with so many people now downloading the pack but I implore you, if you have a question, try and find the solution in the many helpful guides/instructions posted all over the place.

Rant over.

It's just a bit confusing because the date says May 2009 but the stuff posted is Nov 2009. The labelling is Megapack 2 which doesn't mean anything to newcomers.

Plus the other cut out thread which seems to be FM2009 is still being used to post cut outs. I am not sure if those are FM2009 cut outs ie pictures from last year or are they FM2010 cut outs?

Since I am downloading Megapack 2. Are there new cuts out being produced for FM2010? and which thread are they being posted in? So I can keep up with it as they are being uploaded rather then waiting for a megapack update.

What people dont seem to understand is that the megapack isnt just a collection of pics from *only* 2010 or the old one was *only* for 2009, its just a collection of about 55,000 player faces collected over years and using sources old and new to get as many faces into the game as possible. The Megapack works with FM2009 & 2010

Is it so hard to comprehend that MPv2 is latest and for FM2010 and 2.1 2.2 etc.... will be the addition to it(BUT YET TO BE RELEASED)?

Just ignore those 1.1~1.5 LOL

Yeah trouble is the main thread had lots of packs released on it for 09/10 season but prior to game release and will take me ages to split it up and I have been too busy to keep on top of updating it, but I guess I probably should do to avoid confusing newbies.
