Hi,
I am looking to start a career with Lower League Management. I have always been a player that enjoys managing teams where I can see that I am making a difference to them. I hardly ever go any of the major clubs in the game.
Although I always go "smaller" clubs I have never managed in the lower leagues of England. By this I mean below the Blue Square Premier League and this is something that I would like to get a good game going in.
So does anyone have any tips or hints that would help me get off to a good start with management in the low low leagues.
Thanks in advance.

Get players from the big clubs on loan always helps me out. I've took Stevenage to Championship in 3 seasons and have got about 6,7 loans in a season to help me. My best player has been Matt James from Man Utd now i have ended up signing him.

I had an epic game with Newport back on FM06. My greatest game ever I reckon. As above really, keep your finances in check, parent club is a must, and get scouting as much as you can really.
There's some great players out there for free, you've just got to be committed and find them. I tend to offer trials to anyone that looks even half decent.
For Blue Square North/South level, the good old fashioned 'big man, little man' combination upfront is a cracker. A good target man, and a pacey striker will bag you a load of goals.
Keep your tactics simple, play a 4-4-2, and play direct. The lower league players just aren't up to passing it around.
