A number of papers have linked us with that South African pair, they looked good at the World Cup so would be happy with that.

I've read a few stories about an army recruitment stand being set up near the ground and the soldiers getting all kind of abuse from drunk Celtic fans. By and large they were very well behaved though and all the Lincoln fans were making sure to point out it was only a tiny percntage of the fans that caused bother.

Just seen that our U19's held Liverpool's youth team to a 2-2 draw. Not bad considering it was a brand new team last year and only two of the starting 11 were over 18 yesterday.

What is the opinion in Scotland about this Alex Miller person who has taken over as manager of AIK?

I see he managed Hibs for a very long time.

I'm guessing no one knows who he is then eh? :D

I know he was a coach at Liverpool and won a cup with Hibs.

Only remember him as a legend in his playing days for Rangers, played a match with a broken jaw

From his time at Hibs he's remembered as a rather dull, unadventurous manager who's outlook always seemed to be defense first. He made some good signings and a lot of very poor ones, I also feel he stayed at Hibs a lot longer than he should have.

I try to not acknowlege him in anyway shape or form. Spent alot of money on complete duds!

His best transfer ever was Ł700k plus Billy Dodds for Robbie Winters though. That was just complete genius.... NOT!

f*cking C UNT!

Basically, he's an old, grumpy Scottish dinosaur?

Just the type AIK need to get relegated! \o/

Well with Gossip and papers all we have to go by, we have some more news today.

Mphela said he would love to join Rangers as they are the 'Manchester Utd' of Scottish football.

That French/Tunisian defender from St. Etienne said he would sweat it out a year in French football to seal a bosman move to Rangers.

That South African defender has picked up an ankle injury.

Namouchi would like to come back :D

We want a Croatian striker.

Do Celtic know how to be interested in players they find? Or do they just trust Walter Smith to find the players for them.

Swear every player we get linked with near enough Celtic decide they want them as well.

Their agent will probably just approach both teams saying their player's available, as both teams are equally sh*t.

Scotland squad to face Sweden on 11 August:

Goalkeepers: Alexander (Rangers), Marshall (Cardiff) McGregor (Rangers)

Defenders: Hutton (Tottenham), Berra (Wolves), Broadfoot (Rangers), McManus (Middlesbrough), Wallace (Hearts), Webster (Rangers), Whittaker (Rangers)

Midfielders: Adam (Blackpool), Brown (Celtic), Dorrans (West Brom), Fletcher (Manchester United), McCulloch (Rangers), Morrison (West Bromwich Albion), Robson (Middlesbrough), Thomson (Middlesbrough)

Forwards: Boyd (Middlesbrough), Fletcher (Wolves), Iwelumo (Burnley), McFadden (Birmingham), Miller (Rangers)

Seriously? He's barely played and only scored a handful of goals since that miss.

Should have picked Riordan instead.

Doesn't bear thinking about, does it? Totally unwarranted call-up unless Levein really thinks he can turn his fortunes around.

Good to see Shagger back in there though, easily better than that clown Marshall.

Watching Rangers week in, week out, the absolute cheating guys like Naismith and McCulloch get away with is disgraceful, and would never happen in established leagues like La Liga.

Cheating in Football - Exclusively an SPL problem.
