One of my best players has decided that he "Wants a new challenge" because he has "achieved all he can at the club".
Is there anything that I can do to change his mind? He's got 4 years left on his contract and is still playing well for me, but I'm loathe to keep an unhappy player (ironically I was planning to make him captain next season when the current captain will be moving on due to old age).

f*ck him if he has that amount of time left on his deal, when he has a year left then you should think about selling him.
You can try:
- Praising him in the media when he does well
- Signing players/staff he likes
- Offer new deal
- Keep playing him
Usually the players will change their minds and come around to your side, but that changes from player to player. It might take a player two months to change his mind or it might take him two years.
This is from early July? Thats one hell of a bump /o\
