What are some of the craziest rumours you've heard on your game?

Just got one about an Italian guy wanting to buy my club (I'm Liverpool) it said he would promise 400M for new players, insane! hope it comes true though

Some Arab guy wanting to buy Man City and let the manager have like 350M for transfers and sh*t loads for wages!

Some Chileans took over Valencia on mine and for a few seasons Valencia became the biggest club in the world because of all the money they pumped in.

Won back to back promotions with Leeds and got took over by an Arab billionaire. Was immense, if I went under £40m then he'd pump money into the club. I loved that guy.

On the first FM with Abramovich used to always pump millions into Chelski every month without fail, the game used to be so easy with them.

Yeah that was well annoying. In online games, there was always someone who took Chelsea and pissed everyone off (I think Poe might have been with them yonks ago in an online game as well...haha).

It's now true with City though. I haven't played with them, but supposedly you just get like a zillion pounds every week.

Hoffenheim were bitches for it too, I played with them for a few month and the Chairman would always pump a little money into the club every month.

Christhetaz did the draw, and ended up with like Sunderland or Watford or something and I got Chelsea \o/

Athletico Madrid and Fiorentina on mine got take over and were splashing money ever where buying players for £20m that didn't even start more than five games.

Gretna where awesome for a lower league team with cash, I think in real life the owner died or at least got really ill. I only tried Chelsea when taking part in the Nationalist Challenge, you needed the cash to get the likes of Gerrard and Owen

500m is an April fools joke that SI slipped in, I really doubt SI would give that to anyone club under any circumstances.

I've never had the luck of a takeover, other than an in-house one at Newcastle where I was given nothing to spend

I had a lovely takeover at Osorno, every other week they said they were gonna sack me as soon as they got it, then they took months and months to take over the club so I had an embargo for two transfer windows. When they finally did take over they cleared the debts and took us back into the black. So for all the heart ache they caused they did save the club and they even let me keep my job.

Celtic's Tycoon pulled out of the deal \o/ I was really worrying when they said they would plough £69M into the transfer budget.

Apparently they reason for pulling out was to focus on purchasing a different club. As that was said my Chairman is now willing to sell the club He obviously thinks he can make a mint on us. Although I have had no word of a Tycoon and I imagine a director will take the role

Director takeovers are always such a disappointment, whenever rumours start to circulate that we might be getting a takeover I always have visions of millions upon millions being pumped into the club. But nine times out of ten a director comes in and says he has no new money to pump in.

Director takeovers are so disappointing after all of the build up that you get. Has anyone ever been touted as the guy a new director would bring in, should he buy a club?
