An online game with a difference...

This will be a weekly online game for Football Manager 14 that treats your current fixture as the focal point of your nights play. Each match carries an importance and isn't just another game to skip through asap.

Basically..

- Its a full online simulation mode.
- Fixtures are played on a minimum of Comprehensive or Full Match highlights.
- Normal match speed is used.
- Plenty of time is given between matches for users to browse the gameworld and look for transfer targets etc.
- The emphasis of a nights play is on an individual fixture, and is definitely not to try and whizz through as many games a night trying to finish a season in a week!
- This game is aimed at casual players who prefer playing the game under simulation conditions.

its really easy when playing with any amateur clubs to sign a lot of League 2 quality players on a amateur contracts if you give them key player status. This is quite unrealistic and at the lowest level, this makes managing too easy. Is this a bug?

Also has anyone actually done this until they become semi-pro. With a budget suddenly set, is it possilbe to keep any of these quality players?

The detail thats gone in awesome but would appreciate a bit more realism in amateur contracts in the next update. I'd be willing to pay for it!

This is a problem with FM itself, not custom databases. The problem has been there for years.

There are no options in the editor to change player behavior when accepting contracts. I wouldn't call it a bug, its just a feature that hasn't been implemented yet. SI don't give much love to the editor below level 6 (Blue Square N/S) so at the moment any leagues added below that level will have these issues unfortunately.

The only thing you can do is to impose some self restraint and maybe limit yourself to 1 or 2 of these signings a season if you want the game to challenge you.

Does anyone know, when the january transfers 2013 will be introduced in the game? When will the update with the january transfers come out? Also, once it does and if I have started a game already, will those new transfers show in my save or do I need to start a new save, so I can use the new players?

You would need to start a new save to have the transfer updates in your game.

what logos did u use for the knew divisons

I downloaded the mega metallic logo pack off this website. It contains all the lower league logos.

Hi guys, i have this problem with no FA Cup if and when i get my Leek Town promoted will i then get put into the comp or is the db set so that say my side Leek will never appear in the cup..

Any ideas welcomed..

You will get entered into the FA Cup if you get your team into the regional premier leagues or higher. While you are in the very lower leagues (levels 8 & 9) your chances of being entered in the FA Cup are very slim, so the sooner you get promoted to the higher leagues, the better

I think that the database crashed beacuse the new update on FM! i've checked with other players and they have the same problem... even my self! too bad

Unfortunately patch 13.2 has caused some custom databases to stop working, and this is one of them.
