Emulating Sacchi

The next Arrigo Sacchi? Probably not.

Back-to-back UCL Winner? Probably not.

The set-up: Scottish, Irish and rUK leagues loaded. No qualifications and an unemployed former Sunday League player. What could go wrong?

I plan to start this when the full game comes out and hopefully carry it through until completion the next version comes out.

I decided to just go ahead with the game as I realised the data changes won't make much of a difference to a save like this. With the leagues loaded there should be a few available jobs.

First impressions are good.

• The club is in the black with a healthy balance upwards of £230k
• Decent size squad for that level and some promising youngsters.
• Enough left in the budget to get two good players in at that level.

First things first though...

We've had a shocking start in the League Cup, the highlight being Eddie Fearns arriving late in the box to score agains Partick Thistle. I just hope I have the job long enough to complete the National C course.

Started my Celtic save after the data lock. Hence the delay. Bit of an indifferent start, out 2 cups and mid table. Still well within range of a play off spot, and hopefully Scottish Cup draw is kind to us.

September was a good month for us. We went undefeated and pulled it back twice agains Elgin to take the point. I set up a few friendlies to keep up match fitness over the break and have been going about setting up a decent backroom team.
