Johno's career II

Unfortunely I kept getting crash dump on my Ajax career And it wouldn't let me get past July 2017.

So I decided to start in Belgium with Genk. And turn Genk into force in Belgium and Europe.

I just started the season and I will post up my pre season and transfers

Hopefully we get another De Buyne or Courtois type through the academy

Pre season 2013 - Genk



Pretty happy how our pre season went. Played couple youngsters in first 3 games. Not happy with our PSV lost as we was the better side and has a goal ruled out before they scored the winner.

Massively disappointed to see us lost on penalties in Super Cup. Davey Klaassen was the difference against us, ironically I missed out on him as he choose them over me We took the lead before Klaassen level the score on 68th minutes.

Transfers



Brought in 2 players on free.


Good player for us and will play at LB.


Back up to our forward - currently in U'21.

Out - I decided to cash in on Brian Hamalainen as he's out of contract at the end of the season. Shame we sold him to our rival /o\ Few youngsters gone out on loan to gain gametime. Sold Cissé as I felt he wasn't needed and will play youngsters instead.

Staff changes



Spent most of the summer changing the backroom and now I'm happy with who I have brought in.

August 2013 - Genk



Probably a fair result against Anderlecht. We took the lead on 51st minutes but they peg us back 9 mins later to earn a draw. We could have snatched it at death with Kara's header hitting the crossbar. At half time I switched to 4-4-2 and was the better side with better chances.

We was poor even we took 3 points with Vossen's goal.

We faced Club Brugge, away. We was the far the better side and was tad wasteful in front of the goal. We fell behind after 46 seconds after half time. Simaeys level the score after Grious put him through against the keeper and blasted into the net.

Grious bagged another assist with putting through ball to Vossen which he converted to give us the win which sent our fans crazy.

A draw was a fair result even we wasn't at our best.

It was fairly matched teams. Gerkins was handed his debut as injuries was stacking up in midfielders. He set up Buffel goal with a chip over the defence and Buffel's shot found the net. We conceded from corner 8 mins later. Zukanovic gifted us the winning goal as he converted Koulibaly 's header into his own net.

We goes through to group stages thanks to Vossen's brace against HJK.
