FK BODO / GLIMT
Its the year 2012 and former sweden international Arkadiusz Nilsson (50 caps, 24 goals) has taken over at FK Bodo/Glimt in Norway, second division...JCash3000
CLUB OVERVIEW
We are joint favourites to go up.
A lot of pressure of course, but if we believe and give everything we can achieve promotion this season.
We are always positive.
We are scandinavians.

There will be seasonal updates.

We are going up!
Our fate was decided on the last day of the season.
We lost 0-3 to Start, but FORTUNATELY Sandefjord ALSO lost AT HOME to lowly Ranheim!
Time to celebrate!
One word to the Norgesmesterskap Frisk Forsikring Cup (yes, thats the name of it ):
We went out in the cup 2nd round 2-3 to amateurs Namsos IL, but oh well... we could concentrate on the league from then on.
Seasons stats.
Jim Johansen and Mikkel Bischoff made the top 10 in the average rating chart, while Johansen topped 2 other stats charts.
We also topped the tackling chart...ouch!
Our team.
Pavel Londak had a good season, indisputable number one shot stopper in our team and in the estonia national squad.
Tommy Knarvik only made 9 appearances altogether, mostly because of some annoying recurring injuries.
He is 33 now and maybe he has got one more good season left in him.
Vieux Sane impressed this season. At only 23, he already made 28 convincing appearances in the first team, 7 of them as a sub.
Johansen was our best scorer and had the most assists and was of course voted our "fans player of the year".
I had expected a bit more of our striker Braaten, though he also scored 8 goals.
Aram Khalili, our striker prospect, started only 1 game, but was brought on on 17 occasions.
He became unhappy during the season because of the lack of first team football and urged me to transfer list him, but when I offered him to other clubs, he got second thoughts and asked me to take him off the transfer list.
He will get a new chance next season. This time he has to take it.
Bischoff was an instant success, leading the back four convincingly.
Sadly, Ndaye will leave us at the end of the season for we cannot afford to extend his loan contract at the moment.
Team Captain Christian Berg will also leave us after 5 seasons in the Bodo Glimt jersey. His contract runs out and simply wants too much money.
Ruben Helskog Want won´t stay with us either. We have too many AMRs in the team and he is expendable.
One of our players scored the goal of the year!
Johansen came 3rd in the POTY. Congratulations, Jim!
Lets have a look at our best player this season:
Jim Johansen led the assist stats and the man of the match stats.
Hopefully he can continue to impress.
Our youth team also had a successful season, finishing 2nd in the youth league.
Our youth intake this year wasn´t very good.
This is the only player who stands out and the only one who will be signed.
Our transfers this season.
PD (Pierre-Doumbe, he got this nickname after one week in the team) and Bischoff instantly made an impact in the first team, while Lundemo was signed with a look to the future.
But he also made 11 appearances in the first team and did well.
Our board decided to expand the stadium, now that we won promotion.
Fortunately it will take only 3 months.
FOOTBALL SEASON 2011/2012:

UEFA Europa League: Stoke 1-0 Tottenham

I have played a few seasons in Norway myself, using Algard and Frigg Oslo (in two seperate game saves) and found it to be a good place to start a career. I managed to win the Avdeling 3 league and then finish 3rd in the Adeccoligaen with Algard in 2 seasons. Its the kind of country where you can rise to the top without spending big sums of cash and there are loads of reasonable free transfers.
