Here I am, an American/German who loves the worlds game of Soccer or Football. I have grown up around Portland, OR which is a city in the USA that has learned to love the great game. I have supported my local club Portland Timbers FC for many years and have played myself as a Sunday footballer. One day it hit me, I want to manage a team. I know everything there is about football, why not give it a shot. I put my name out there and after a few weeks I finally got a job offer from a team in England! You're looking at the new manager for Winchester City!

I hoped on the plane and am currently headed overseas to begin my new life! Many updates are to come as I begin this new chapter in my life and chase my dreams over one day making it to the Premier League and winning that Champions League trophy!

Day 1:
After arriving at the stadium I was greeted by the teams owner and my new assistant manager. The owner and I briefly talked and I was given a short history on the club, as I honestly dont know much about Winchester City.

After chatting for a bit I was shown the roster for the first time. We didnt have much, not even a full team. Needless to say I had a lot of work to do ahead of me.

Transfers started flying in over the next few days and weeks and the squad started coming together. The only thing not coming together were the results in the preseason, but I wasn't worried. We were heading into the new season with a good looking squad and you could feel the excitement around the stadium from fans and the team alike.

After a look at the staff, I realized I needed to fill a few positions. So, I went out and hired a Director of Football and a Head of Youth Development. Both of these new staff members will allow me to improve this team and move up the leagues.

Also, below is a list of the preseason transfers that the club was able to pull off.

Getting everyone on a free was great (didnt really have a choice) and we also managed to not use all of our wage budget.

The first game of the season went well for us as we were able to pull off the 2-1 win over Taunton Town. Up next is an away league match against Hungerford Town then a home match against Wellington, Hereford in the FA Cup.
