Thanks fella!
So it took me a while to get a team, Lincoln City the first team to buff me back.
Till this happened:
Olexandriya ply their trade in Ukraine, not where I wanted to start but it will do.
For a smaller team they have a large financial backing. They are due to finish third by the media prediction but sadly the previous regime has them struggling.
Lets see if I can get them promoted, it will be a tough old task mind!

My aim is to try not to sign anyone now and get through this season and then look again at the start of the next. Fingers crossed it will pay off and I can still be promoted.
So going into the winter break I have turned around the fortunes but only slightly. The run of three draws does not excite me!
However 12 points from my first 7 games I will take that!

I knew that to get anywhere near promotion I would pretty much have to win all of my remaining games
Something has clicked with the players and it seems that the tactic that I use has got them together for a final push for promotion.
My next game is against Poltava, meaning a win against them and a final day game against Obolon will mean that promotion is in my hands.

Meaning going into the last day I had to win my final game to win promotion.
Which I managed 3-2 and thus....
Onwards and upwards!

Cheers fella! A lot more difficult that first imagined I don't want to be out in Ukraine for a long time.

So I was offered a new contract by the club! I duly accepted.
A healthy budget to use.
However after 11 games I am feeling home sick.
As the clubs I am looking to take over can't afford my compensation I am going to have to do the above and reign from Ukraine.
I leave the club looking like this...
I can tell you it is one of four teams I will go too ranging from League 1 to Blue Square Premier. Whoever offers me a job first I will go too.
Interestingly I only lost 2 games in my time at Olexandriya, something I am pretty impressed with.

Bristol Rovers are my new team, they are in the Blue Square Premier after relegation last term. Maybe a little of a backwards step but I wanted to get down to the lower end of English football and build a reputation that way.
So they haven't enjoyed to much of a great start. Though with that said it is just a crazy amount of draws that have seen them where they are.
Financially they are in a complete and utter mess. Wage budget needs to be sorted come January.

Not a bad start for me then, managed to get some good points on the board for the team and we have got ourselves into a good position to challenge for the play offs this season.

We shall see mate, there are no formalities, the board only want Play Offs so that is my aim, going to be close at the top I am sure. Though you will see from this update it is going to be now almost impossible!
Putting together a little cup run is the only saving grace from this. It has to be said that it can only help my finances. Overcoming Sheffield United on their own turf in the reply is a great achievement!

So all of these players have come in on loan. For none of these players am I paying anything out to their parent clubs, so all the loan players I did have are back where the belong and not with me!
This has enabled me to cut the wage bill.
Not a bad month either! Out of the cup but not so disappointed with that!
And I have managed to sneak my way into a play off place!

Fingers crossed I will do just that fella! As this update shows you I did but just!
7 Points from my last 6 games was just not good enough in my opinion. You want a little bit of form going into the play offs so something has to be done to pull us back out of the poor form we are in!
Forest Green will be really, really tough. I have my fingers crossed for a good outcome though!

So a poor first leg saw us needing to overturn a one goal deficit!
Of course the result was never in doubt!

I don't play a defensive style. I look to score as many as I can. I get that from watching Peterborough United haha!

How we won it I have no idea at all! In truth we were shocking as the stats will suggest but the vital one is we won! League 2 here we come and a bounce straight back up.
This was nice to get too!
And a good cup run and promotion has helped the finances no end!

Lots of freebie players will be needed! I refuse to spend to get in players. Well not big anyway!

So first things first, I have been offered and have signed a new contract with Bristol Rovers! Pretty pleased about that one.
There have been some serious changes made to the side. Hopefully I have enough to keep my head above water or better still reach my aim which is to get to the play offs again.

I have also been able to keep well below my wage budget too.
The bookies have us as one of the favourites for promotion too. Not just me who thinks a top 7 finish is out of the question.
