that doesnt work im afraid, already tried it. It outright fails everytime
could you please take a look at this @Footygamer ?
I can tell you after testing it that the download works... so the problem must be at your end....
try to look at this: https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000839.htm

Ok. But is an official news for next season, so it should be put in the main folders
From next update will be in main folder
Many thanks, hope this makes sense.
I was wondering if anyone could help.
I've loaded up my game tonight, having changed nothing, and suddenly the small logos on the league do not work. They show next to the player stats, and every other graphic addition works, but they've suddenly stopped working.
I've attached a screenshot.
Any advice on whats happened and how I can fix it? I've done the usual, cleared cache, downloaded the latest update etc.
well.... Something must have changed.... the logos don't just stop showing..... It seems to be a config problem. If the only problem is that your small club logos don't show and nothing else is wrong there is a simple solution. put this config in your club\small folder...... located here: sortitoutsi Metallic Logos\graphics\pictures\logos\metallic logos\clubs\small
The only thing bugging me in this solution is that if you have downloaded the latest update (and put it in the right place) this should have fixed the problem and so I suspect something else to be wrong. Best advice is to go through the folders and look to see if everything looks normal. I can see that your not a premium member otherwise my best advice would be to delete everything and download the hole thing again. Because if the folder structure are f... up it can be very hard to determine what is wrong and it takes a lot of investigation
Thanks for your reply. I tried to move the folder to another location and then back again to see if that worked and I found that the small clubs logo folder had corrupted somehow. Windows 10 won't let me delete the folder either, so i'm currently enjoying trying to sort that!
Thank you for your help though.
edit: sorry, let me be more specific, I just downloaded the complete pack, and when I unzip it there are a fair few files that seem to be duplicated in there. They seem to be either march and june, or created about 2 minutes apart.
If installed correctly, there should be plenty of overwrite requests for club, competition, nation and trophy logos which have a better, more recent version added in this update pack.
sorry, just edited my original post as realise I hadn't made it clear, I've downloaded the complete pack, and installing fresh on a new laptop. soo all the overwrite requests are coming from the one complete pack?
If installed correctly, a fresh installation of the complete pack should not have any overwrite requests, though
Images are saved by the UID to which they pertain, and there will be normal, small and @2x versions of each file, so that is where there may be an overlap in filenames. But if extracted and copied correctly, they should all be in separate folders and no overwrite requests are then received.
Could you stop any current installation, remove any files extracted so far from your user data folder and restart the process from scratch? When you get an overwrite prompt, take a screenshot and post it here?
P.S. You are installing everything in Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2019, right? Not your steam installation folder?
Since your a premium member I suggest starting the process all over again. Delete anything you have previous downloaded and installed, and get the full pack again. Make sure to install the pack on the right patch: Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2019. Then there should be no overwrites and the pack should work just fine. Then if you in the future decided to download any updates there will be plenty of overwrites, but that is the hole idea of updates and all overwrites should just be accepted
Many Italian teams have changed their logos, but it's wrong. I am the researcher who takes care of the Italian teams and many clubs (denomination changes and mergers) have been created. So it is wrong to replace the logo of the extinct teams. For these changes you have to wait for the new game.
Thanks... We don't have the resources to check every request, so we rely on that people that request have made their home work. It is @Andrea S.S. LAZIO who make the majority of the requests for italian teams. Perhaps the two of you could talk to each other and sort out how to request the many changes to italian teams? and make sure that the right logos are requested and that wrong ones are reverted back.
The Champions Cup is the Super Cup and should have the KSI logo, and the League Cup A should the Lengjubikarinn logo.
thanks... will be fixed in next update
OK. Now almost all the old logos must be restored, replaced with the new ones in the last update. @Andrea S.S. LAZIO
Ok, starting again now. And yeah it's def the right folder. been doing this a long time now. too long. will let you know how i get on!
will post screenshots if they appear again. All I do is unzip the whole folder using 7zip. then move the extracted folder to the right place.
Looks like there's already a byte-identical file in the same location you're extracting the download. Just say yes to all and keep the extraction going
Yeah, if I don't click yes to all there are quite a few of them. Just might be worth exploring for future releases.
