Kits

Hello Guys/Girls,
I have been trying to edit my teams kits in the FM 22 editor to this seasons new colours.
I have simply been going to the club page and jerseys in the editor and altering the colours.
However when i do this its not reflecting in the match engine its still reverting to the previous seasons colours.
What am i doing wrong?
