Data Update Home Thread

Hi

I have been using the data updated  for years without a problem until now I have put the data editor file into the data editor folder when I start a new game the database doesn't  work

I extracted the original file through WinRAR and moved the folder into editor data deleting any previous files i had in there however none of the new transfers are available for me when i start a new save.

It's because you have sub-folders within your editor data folder, that way the game can't read them

Move all of the files directly into the underlined folder and it should work 👍

Are the transfers not there in-game or are you not able to select the file at all when starting a save?

You might have the same problem as the guy above, see if my explanation helps and otherwise please post a screenshot of your editor data folder

i downloaded the data update and everything but can't load it, its not in the editor files (in game) but what's worse is i can't load up a single new save, what do i do i'm on a mac i  extracted it all etc but now my game won't work at all, i now get stuck on this screen (4th screenshot)

See a few comments above here. You can't select the files in-game because there are sub-folders within your editor date folder, that way the game can't read them. You have to move the update files directly into the editor data folder

I'm not sure why it's freezing out, how long have you waited for it to load?

moved them out of that folder and into orginial editor data folder still no change 😢

Can you show another screenshot to be sure?

It's also possible it has to be stored in a different folder

You can open FM > Preferences > Search for “Location” and check what location the game extracts the files from

I just noticed that i cannot make any edit for database?why?

Hi @Drafter , i notice in future database data for FM22. English leagues ( EPL) still have 3 sub rules. Only England. Other region is have 5 subs.

@Hoàng Thọ I don't think we changed anything with sub rules as it was too much work, some other leagues will probably have 3 as well?

I acually don't care other leagues beside 5 league. sorry . But could you please change the rules. Please

In which folder should I put the file with the Zaniolo xml extension?

Here is an fmf version of the file that puts Zaniolo in Galatasaray

Just put it in this folder and it should work

Documents > Sports Interactive > FM23 > Editor data

Make sure that your game is fully updated and then start a new save. He was set as a free agent with the release date update

Juventus points deduction now included in the update as I understand it's confirmed to be in the winter update

Hi,

There is a small mistake in a competition (federation third division group 9), of Spain.

The team “Barrio NSR” does not play there. However the team “FC Málaga City Academy” is missed and play that league.

Can any staff member fix the database? Thanks in advance.
