FM23 REAL TIME TRANSFER UPDATE JANUARY WINDOW 23
****PLEASE READ AND NOTE PRIOR TO USE****
Real Time transfer update for FM23, ALL TRANSFERS are set to complete on the day they completed in real life.
In the case of loans, loans completed to the end of the season will occur FROM THE START of the season, as you cannot delay the loan.
In the case of a loan with OBLIGATION TO BUY, 6 month loan at start, return to parent club, and then transfer at end of season one. This is in my opinion the most realistic way, eg, TEREM MOFFI, 6 month loan to NICE, return to LORIENT for 2nd half, join end of first season.
In the case of loans when a player has been recalled and re-loaned, they will appear at the LATEST LOAN.
Contrat Extensions and Players Leaving / Mutual Termination also included and cannot be undone unless amended again via editor.
All transfers done upon confirmation from various news sources, transfermarkt etc.
FOR THE BEST REALISM, DISABLE FIRST WINDOW TRANSFERS

This update DOES INCLUDE CA/PA CHANGES. This is mostly to correct immediate game generated transfer listings, in the case where players who actually play most games are on the list at the start of the game.
Add to your data editor folder and select during Career Game Creation to use.

When does the Portuguese transfer window shut because I've read it was 31st Jan, and earlier today I have read that it's today.

They are in there, done in real time, so deal will complete on Deadline Day.

Great work! But the date of loan players are not 100% correct. Thorgan Hazard for example is lent out from august till january.

That is correct, as he is only loaned for half a season, spent the first half with Dortmund. You cannot set loans for the future, only Transfers, so loans occur from start, only way around this I’m afraid. Same with Sabitzer, Joao Felix, it is the only way to make it work.

Are the transfer budgets changed in real time too in line with the transfers, so for example will transfer fee for Anthony Gordon be added to Evertons budget in January?

No, the coding on FM doesnt take into account Future Transfer fees, so budget remain the same as at the start of standard DB game. To be fair, according to the news and papers Everton haven't got the £45 million anyway to spend, so you will have to be like Dyche and buy no one hahaha

Downloaded and pasted to Editor Data folder within Football Manager 23. Having an issue where the option to “tick” the update file within the FM23 menu does not appear. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

I started a new Oldham save, downloaded this file but there is nothing there with future transfers, anyone know how this come, or did I do it wrong, downloaded it and added to Football manager map on pc

Did you correct some transfers like - Julian Araujo. His transfer to Barca is blocked, and also Joao Mendes de Assis Moreira (Ronaldinho's son) is at Barca now?
