I started my job search with the lowest possible qualifications and experience as a coach. After applying to all available positions, our first destination was clear after just one week of unemployment:

The 3rd division of the Japanese league awaited us! I had never managed a club in Japan before. Since the season had already started, we had to make the best of the squad available and secure our place in the league.

We finished the season in a surprising and fantastic 4th place! The media prediction was the 18th place!

The hardest game, unbelievably but true, was the last match against the already relegated team Kamatamare Sanuki…3 Goals in the last 5minutes!

We had a great start with only one defeat! The only loss was after a 2-0 lead against the current second-place team, Imabari…

The promotion spot will be difficult, but the playoffs are absolutely realistic.

I have received an offer from Montedio Yamagata in the 2nd Japanese League but I am still waiting for a response after our negotiations.

Despite receiving two offers from the J2 League, I have decided to finish the season with Yokohama SCC. 

There are not many games left and we are on a very, very good run! currently at the top of the table!

(Unfortunately, we were eliminated from the cups by teams playing in higher leagues…)

We have signed two players. Oscar Gil joins on a free transfer to add depth to our attack, and Kentaro Kai joins for 50k as our defense urgently needed more quality:

We are on a very good path towards promotion to J2 League!

Our key player Carlos Arroyo is leaving us for 210k and transferring to Vegalta Sendai in the J2 League:

Three matchdays before the end of the season we have achieved the surprising promotion to the J2 League! I will be leaving the club at the end of the season, but it is still a great success and opens new doors for new challenges ahead!

112 goals scored and only 3 losses. 83 points, what a fantastic season comes to an end. As my contract expires, we are now starting the search for a new club!

The club search didn't take long and we've decided to join the Serie C club Novara Calcio! Novara Calcio was also in Serie A in the 2011/2012 season, but they were immediately relegated back to Serie B. Our goal is to bring Novara Calcio back to success!

The Squad:

We have two Goalkeepers who are OK for Serie C. Minelli is the First Keeper, backup is Desjardins…Desjardins' contract is expiring. We might not extend it, even though he is only 25. I will make sure to bring in a new goalkeeper for the next season, either as the new number one or promote a backup from the youth team.

The right-back and left-back positions look good; both RBs and LBs are of similar quality. I have no concerns there.

The center-backs consist of two experienced players, Lancini and Lorenzini. The backups are all U21 players, so we might need new transfers in the summer:

The central midfielders are all equally strong. There are many options available. Who will be in the starting lineup will likely depend on their performance:

Tomaselli is likely to be the starter on the left wing. The main issue is his backup; neither Vaiarelli, Catania or Padula are currently at a good level. We need a Transfer for this Position in the next season.

On the right wing, Donadio will alternate with Gerardini. The quality is acceptable for Serie C:

I'm also not happy with the Strikers. Maybe i will complete renew the Strikers in the new season, but for the rest from the current season will Árni Vilhjálmsson definitely start every match. Corti will be the partner from Vilhjalmsson. Marotta and Ongaro will be the Backups.

There is a promising forward talent, Antonio Santoni, i will hopefully give minutes in this season. He could develop well:
