We beat Peterbrough 2-0 last night which was a great result and keeps us withn touching distance of the play-off places in seventh.

And hopefully that's the end of Dave Jones. Thoroughly deserved the win.

Didn't see that coming at all. Kudos to Tranmere, but what happened to Coventry? Shock at playing a home game on a Saturday?

Well we should have won today Reading are not a very good side 1st half we dominated it but couldn't find a goal Alex McCarthy made a couple of good saves and Dunn hit the post the 2nd half was alot more even but still no goals Gorkes headed over from about 4 yards for them and they should have had a pen when Hanley went right through Gunter in the box but somehow the ref Gunter for diving and we got away with it even all the rovers fan were laughing and Bowyer admitted it after the game that it was a pen a points a point but we should have had all 3.

In isolation, it's not a bad result; they only got relegated last season, they've got a manager who's been promoted from this league before etc etc, but it still highlighted a few problem areas for us I think - if Rhodes doesn't win a game for us then nobody will (this may change with Dunn and Rochina fit again), we've struggled to score lately in general tbh. In fact, since I moved away I've missed 4 home games but we've only scored one goal in them haha, and that was from a Tommy Spurr long throw (Rhodes v Watford.....I was back for Boro).

Heard about their stonewall penalty too, good job the ref made a mistake.

We were appalling. Mandaric isn't gonna sack him yet either

Bugger. I was hoping we'd done the football world a favour.

yeah it isn't but reading looked really poor and only looked like scoring from set pieces. Yeah if Rhodes dosent score we won't really Dunn was excellent yesterday though. Ha ha I think you need to move back for more goals

was defo a pen not sure how he managed to decide he dived.

No not yet, which is a shame. Whats with the badge on your away kit? Looked very strange

Crap. But against a side without a midfield like us, even that is enough to get a point

For whatever reason the club always puts the badge on away kits in black and white or whatever colour the kit is. Have to say it's pretty naff, but hardly a major issue.

I was impressed with Adam Clayton's beard most of all from the footage I saw at the Wednesday-Huddersfield game. Well, that and the referee falling over.

As for the first Huddersfield goal, is there a story behind the mock-punch celebration?

Thinking of going to Wrexham to see my local non-league side Gresley FC try and pull off a gant killing in the FA Trophy. I'm caught in two minds between that and the Saddlers game with Port Vale. hmmm.

Support the non-league side this weekend.

I went to Wrexham in the end, obviously Wrexham dominated but Gresley threatened a late comeback after pulling it back to 2-1 in the 83rd minute which made it intresting, they came up short in the end but still a good effort.
Glad I chose this game as Walsall lost 2-0 at home to Port Vale, the train is taking sodding forever though.

Although Dyche has a very fair point about the penalty we did get (never in a million years), he forgets that we had a stonewaller turned down in the first half. He also forgets that had Burnley got anything out of that it would have been a travesty. At half-time we were wondering how it was 0-0; Town carved Burnley open with some top-quality football and should have been out of sight. They only came into it in the last quarter of the game. Superb performance and result.

A contingent of Anderlecht supporters turned up at Leicesters game with Millwall to cheer on their former player Marcin Wasilewski. Great to see such things.

Drew 2-2 at Exeter. Good result for us but as we went up twice we should have won it. Never mind it was actually a good performance from us

Beat Leeds 1-0 Thought our back 4 were excellent again ! We look very solid with this Kane,Hanley,Dann and Spurr at the back. Taylor was excellent as well thoroughly deserved to be man of the match. Rhodes was isolated though up front hopefully Gestede will start against Ipswich or at least against Millwall in the next home game. Kean made a great save at 0-0 as well

Coyle? I didn't even realise he was under pressure. Seem harsh, they're not too far off the play-offs and over the worst of the Europa backlog.
