ARSENAL: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Flamini, Rosicky, Wilshere, Walcott, Cazorla, Giroud

Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Arteta, Ryo, Bendtner, Gnabry, Podolski

Still no Bendtner ffs

Yeah Suarez seems to create more chances than Torres does, so even when he doesn't score he's still doing something.

Williamson should have been booked for that.

Zabaleta is a better all-rounder but Coleman's certainly the best going forward.

I'm honestly not bothered if it sounds biased, He's better than Zabaleta now.

Just conceded a poor goal long shot from Gaston Ramirez, Joel flapped at it through his arms.

now 2-1, Romelu fucking Lukaku get the fuck in.

Debuchy is in with a shout as best RB in the league btw - outstanding again today.

We were unlucky - draw would have been fair.

Yeah, he was fantastic. Gibbs really struggled with him.

A draw would have been fair but if we want to win the league we need to grind out these sorts of results. This was one of our best of the season given Newcastle's form and that they beat Chelsea, United and Spurs.

I thought if we went for it from the off instead of playing defensively in the first half we'd have snatched a goal.

We played really well once Ben Arfa and Ameobi came on.

Debuchy has been playing that well all season.

We was shit and caused our own problems more so than Newcastle actually creating anything. Wenger got lucky as all the substitutions were defensive minded and it simply penned us back for the last 10 mins or so. No idea why Walcott came off either as he was the only forward player that offered something different and looked to make runs past the defence, not that he ever got the ball. If your gonna play so defensive at the end of a game then you need an out ball, Giroud (who was terrible again) and Bendtner are not gonna offer that, where as Walcott would have been perfect for this. Wilshere was awful and as usual spent 90% of the game laying on the floor expecting freekicks to be given. We've been this bad for a few games now and were just lucky today Newcastle offered very little going forward.

Aye Arsenal created nothing really - goal came from a very soft freekick too.

Thought Cazorla played well, mind.

Walcott was anonymous all game and Wenger said after the game that we didn't look like we had the legs to score again, so we settled for 1-0. Newcastle threw the kitchen sink at us during those last ten minutes but we defended well and they created few chances. Thankfully for us Ben Arfa is a greedy wee sod.

You're a better side than them, think you'll finish above them still.

2? Thought the Terry on Suarez one was a bit 50/50. Eto'o one was a definite peno though

I only caught a replay of the Suarez one but wasn't Terry pulling him down? Etoo one could have been a pen too

Still played shit and didnt actually create anything worthy so

Webb went for the lenient approach today, trying to let the game flow (which is nice), but he ended up missing some big (and some smaller) calls for both teams.

Didn't pull him down, more just barged into him. I'd say outside the box it might have been a free
