I set out to include the v6 and v7 updates into FM.
I am playing FM 13, as I enjoy playing it more than FM 14.
So I first added all the graphics from v6 to my graphic folder and refreshed the skin.
Everything was fine and I can see that new logo's are added and some are replaced. Brilliant.
But when I do the same for v7, and reload the skin, the new graphics are not added.
I track a few club logo's to analyze.
Any idea why things work out for v6 but not v7?

I would imagine that you've installed something in the wrong place or something - can you provide some more information on your install or post up some screenshots to give me an idea of the problem?

But I've done it exactly the same way as I did with previous updates.
I open the .rar and for each folder with images (lets say clubs -> normal -> images) I take all images and paste them into the existing graphic folder in the Sports Interactive graphics folder that corresponds (clubs -> normal -> the images there). This has worked for all previous versions but for v7 nothing is incorporated into the game...

So are you saying the images and the config do not overwrite?

Sorry, is it possible for you to upload a mirror for the latest update? I had been trying to download the file from the current site but still hadn't managed to get the file just yet (download quotas, broken download, and so on). Mediafire would be preferable. Thanks for all the hard work

Frankly, that is what I think must be the case, I don not see a way around it.
Have gone back to a backup from my v5.
Added v6, worked, added v7, didn't work.
Would be good to know if there are others with the same problem.
I think many people simply install and don't check, could that be?

I think we can say that by your own yardstick it's only you with the problem.

If you are not willing to post your specific problem with some screenshots then how can I help you fix it?

Hoowh don't get me wrong I am willing to do anything but I have no idea what to give you a screenshot of.
No idea how to fix it either but it doesn't give me sleepless nights.
The pack up until v6 is brilliant the way it is, so no worries.
I just wanted to let you know that I experienced this, and thought that others might have the same, without noticing.

Well if you want it fixed then post up some screenshots of anything relevant like your folder layout and filepaths, a list of configs would be good too, just anything different in your SI folder that might expain the problem.

Can you upload the update packs (update 6 & update 7) on another host then uploaded please,i'm having troubles with it.
My download stops when reaching 25 mb already 3 times,very frustrating

Update 8 is now live so follow the links in the op and get it now !!

Download the file and extract it to your user data folder which is by default

C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Sports Interactive

and accept all overwrites.

900+ new and updated ones this time, but no alternates tis time as I had to cut it slightly short as the WC was beginning and I'm gonna have a wee break so no more packs until probably August i reckon.

I've made a slight cock up in which I have used a wrong ID so please download and install this quick fix for RB Salzburg - just unzip to your SI docs folder which by default is

C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Sports Interactive

Dont do too much when you're tired

Thanks for excellent work. Have been using your update for ages.
Now though there is a problem, of all leagues and logos the one from the Premier League doesn't show up.
Every single one for the other leagues is ok, and so with the clubs.
I've tried looking at the file to see wether it is the wrong size or something wrong with that single .png file, but no.
Can't seem to get it working....I even tried one of the alternatives to see if I could fix it, no.
Any tips?

I would reckon that you must have a duplicate config somehow - can you check the EPL again and see if the Everton logo works.

Can you also confirm if you also saw overwrite messages on the install as that could indicate a problem if you saw none.

Kremmen , Targu Mures and Acs Berceni (both from Romania league2) don't have logos.

What does the Metallic_Update_v2 editor data file do? There's already a Metallic_Update_2 (without a V in it) editor data file in the folder so are they both needed or should I delete the older one?

I don't know whats wrong i can't download the new pack can some please help me the site uploaded.net won't send me trough to download the new file
