I was originally going to do one big journeyman career and start unemployed and that will be my next career! But first I am going to start as Ajax and hopefully one day win the champions league!

Here is Ajax's history! Last time they won the champions league was in 1995! And they have alot of Eredivise titles!



Really bad news my best striker our for a long time



Not a great pre season starting off with a defeat against our reserves is never a good start even though they do have alot of good players. But we recovered to batter Slovan Liberec 7-0! We finished poorly though losing to Crystal palace. And drawing with Viktoria Plzen and Ajax CT.

But I have already won my first trophy as Ajax manager beating Zwolle 2-0 in the JC Schaal! First half was even and they hit the post as well as having a goal disallowed for offside. We also missed a couple of good chances. But Millik had us ahead early into the second half as he finished well after a shot was saved! They didn't create any chances second half as we dominated and Klaassen finished well at the near post to seal the win



The next update will show my first month of league fixtures and my transfers!

Yeah it is I have bought in a new striker that I will show in my update and then Milik and Klaassen.

Sorry for how long this update took I have been very busy. I will start off with my transfers:-





As you can see alot of outs! Most of them are players released who were not going to be good enough to reach the first team or players that will be good enough going out on loan. And the players that went for money were either replaced by better players or were not good enough for the squad and we already had enough cover in that position.



Not so many ins!



Tariq joins on loan I wish I could have signed him as he only cost Fiorentina 70k but hopefully he can perform on a seasons loan!



Aimar hasn't played yet but he has been injured and he is still a good player for free!



Henrique is a very solid player with solid stats all around! He was fairly cheap especially as he can play in alot of positions!



Cavanda is a good right back and will rival Van Rhijn for the right wing back role! He is quite pricey on wages so his performance need to justify the wages!



Balanta is the big signing but he is a quality defender and he is no near his best yet so I think the price I paid for him will turn out to be cheap!



My final signing is Roque Santa Cruz he was amazing at Blackburn IRL. So I hope he can still do a job at this level the fact he has 17 for heading and jumping reach was the main reason I signed him!

Now onto my first month of fixtures



The first match against Utrecht was a disaster we could not defend they raced into a 2 goal lead, Klaassen pulled one back but by the 61st minute we were 4-1 down. Tariq got a double to bring it back to 4-3 and with just 2 minutes left Milik hit the post which would have been a great comeback draw

Next up we were much better against Vitesse, Klaassen and Tariq had us 2-0 up early on but they pulled one back just before half time, Tariq made it 3-1 but they made it 3-2 on the 87th minute and we had heartbreak when they got the equalizer on the 93rd minute we had thrown away a 2-0 and 3-1 lead.

Against Feyenoord we were fantastic! Tariq scored an amazing goal beating 3 players and then smashing the ball into the top of the net! Klaassen had us 2-0 up straight after and second half goals from Klaassen and Veltman secured a great win for us! The most pleasing thing was the clean sheet

We battered Dordrecht and they went ahead with there only chance off a corner. Klaassen had us level with yet another goal just before half time, second half we missed so many chances and there keeper was excellent but finally after a goal mouth scramble following a corner Viergiver smashed in!

The last game against Go ahead eagles was disappointing they had alot of ball but apart from one world class save by Cillessen they didn't create much. Tariq hit the post and Klaassen missed a one on one for us but another clean sheet is positive!



I would like to be doing better but we are just 3 points off 3rd place so it's not too bad hopefully we can now pick up our form! As Utrecht have had an amazing start.




They are the player stats so far in position order. Stand out performers are Klaassen, Viergever, Van Rhijn and Tariq. Balanta has been a major disappointment so far and I had to drop him.



A nightmare champions league draw probably the worst draw possible from 3rd seed 3rd place would be great!

Harsh luck with Sigþórsson, but Tariq is definitely growing on you! I had a chance to loan him in at Everton, but the setup would've prevented him getting any action.

League results leave something to be desired, but I know you can trudge on and pound out those wins.

And good luck in the CL, that's a harsh looking group alright.

At least you beat crushed Feyenoord. That's what really matters!

Unfortunately I don't have alot of time at the moment so this will have to put on hold. I may come back with another career or continue this one at some point. But I will carry on commenting on all your careers when I can!
