In this update, the American Leagues are reorganized to the English league structure.
All rules about contract types, drafts, salarygaps and shit like that are gone.
Clubs play just in normal competitions, classified by English model and the champion is the team that has collected the most points after 38 matches.
The reputation of the competition has increased a little bit and there is also prize money en television money (about half of Englands).
So the competition is more attractive for players from all over the world.
There are five playable leagues, one cup and one super cup. For this I took the existing leagues.
The MLS has 20 teams, the other divisions have 24 teams. All the clubs are classified by reputation.
To get the US Open Cup more attractive I took the best 53 clubs (except Mexico) from the other countries in North America to participate in the cup.
The All-Stars Cup is now played between the winner of the MLS and the US Open Cup (not the MLS All Stars anymore).
The Semi-Finals of the US Open Cup and the All-Stars Cup finals are played on the FedEx Field in Washington en the US Open Cup finals will be played in The Rose Bowl in Pasadena

Exactly. Because its a DOMESTIC KNOCKOUT competition.
There is already a CONCACAF Champions League if you want to modify that go ahead but the it is highly unrealistic to mess with the US Open Cup and turn it into some sort of continental competition when that would a) Never be allowed by US Soccer, b) Never be allowed by CONCACAF, c) Never be allowed by FIFA.
