Steam Workshop Erorr

All,

I think Steam was updated a few days ago and ever since when trying to load the game via steam. I click library, play to get this message :



So I check system preferences and it's already checked,



The game does load but I have to go through this everytime I load the game.

I also get an error when trying to access the Steam workshop. I load the game, downloads which brings up "Store" and "Steam Workshop". I then click steam workshop and then I get the following error :



It then shows I have no subscribed items from the workshop.

This has only just happened in the last few days since the Steam update. Anyone else had this/these issues or any advise on how I rectify them please?
