25 best free transfers you should sign

hello guys. I've come up with the 25 best free transfer signings you should attempt to sign at the start of a new game.

in no particular order...

I love tommy. its about time the game recognised him for what a good player he is. labelled the next harry kewell and rightly so. a regular for the aussies and yours for nothing!

inexplicably released by his Brazilian team, Ronny will grace any side with the right amount of playing time and development. touted as the next Mario Sergio.

okay, this one maybe a bit of a punt but he would be a great shout for a lower league side. hell, Steven Gerrard is his cousin so surely there's breeding! a good solid DC if not outstanding.

chinedu is still without a club which is pretty amazing really. his stats have taken a hefty hit, but I still think he's worth a look. I know Sunderland had him on trial IRL and for whatever reason they decided not to sign him. 17 for flair,16 for dribbling and 16 for fist touch and still only 29! no brainer.

I absolutely love this DC. a class act who fortunately finds himself a free agent for us FM players! he has French heritage and is a regular international so a WP wont be a problem. sign him up quick!

karim has been at Montpelier for most of his career and I dare say he was disappointed when they released him. he has great technique and would grace any side that needs a marauding full back.

shakhtar have been struggling of late due to the conflict, but nobody can say they cant spot a decent Brazilian. ilsinho is a class act with some cracking stats. he has Italian heritage so a WP wont be a problem if you are playing in England.

lets face it, we always need a back up keeper. this fella fits the bill perfectly. a Bulgarian international that hasn't got the greatest stats, but he's free so what the hell! could do a lot worse and he's only 27 which is young for a goalie. he could be a first teamer for a championship level and below side.

another lower league DC punt here! Miles Addison was very highly regarded whilst he was at derby and for whatever reason it just hasn't happened for him so far in his career. defo worth a try.

the wonderfully named Ivan Ivanov would provide some fantastic defensive stability to any side. he is coming out of a bad injury, but I think he is well worth a try. still only 27 with plenty of international experience.

why Bolton got rid of this sierra leone international ill never know as they need more steel in their midfield more than ever. their loss is your gain if you can sign him up. a great ball winner for nothing.

love this lad! a giant of a DC with stats in all the right places. I've got hair like him, its just not on my head...

Jermaine would make fantastic acquisition to any side. I wouldn't let his age put you off him. cracking stats for a ball winner if you need one.

you cant ignore arshavin. he still has some great attributes and he can still do a job for most sides.

my third Bulgarian on the list! gone to Coventry IRL and I think they have done shrewd bit of business there. really good all round stats.

I have spoke about this kid before. he just needs a chance! just sign him up. cant believe he finds himself without a club. a top talent.

okay, his stats don't look the greatest, but he has 2 caps already for Sweden. I don't think the game has done this lad justice as he is highly regarded IRL. a good deep lying midfielder who just needs playing time.

this Brazilian defo wont get a WP if you are playing in England but outside of there happy days! he isn't prolific, but he was touted as the next big thing when he was younger. lots of pace and flair so he would be an asset to any side.

not an obvious one here. this guy has been a great professional all of his career. fantastic stats and you could do a lot worse than to sign him.

look how many goals he has scored for Bahrain. probably against wank opposition, but you cant argue with that. nice stats. free as well!

a player who had massive potential despite his 40 caps. still got bags of time left for his career.

this fella has been prolific in south America! unfortunately he wont get a WP but as a target man he is class! if you need a big guy up front, then look no further than this lad.

ahh Finland. that hot bed of football. not great this fella but he would be a super star for lower league if you can sign him.

mongongu and hegazi both look quality on a free, thanks for posting these...

yeah both quality centre backs who wouldn't disgrace themselves in the premiership if you are working on a budget.
