Just brought tickets to Volbeat supported by Iced Earth at the Birmingham O2 Academy in October. I can't wait, it's been far to long since I've been to a gig.

Gutted i keep missing him when he's in the UK, he's so good.

Anyway, went to Victorious Festival yesterday was really good actually, saw the Cribs, Fenech Soler, Maximo Park and a load of local bands, not bad for £15

I saw Smith Westerns in the Deaf Institute Manchester, cracking venue. The band were good, should be playing bigger venues.

Seeing Arctic Monkeys at Earls Court tomorrow. Impressed with AM so should be a good live performance. Not a fan of Alex Tuner's whole masquerade nowadays but at least he (and Jamie Cook) doesn't look melancholic any more.

Went to the Earls Court Arctic Monkeys gig last night. It was largely good, and the AM stuff was particularly good, although it could've been better - poor acoustics and some baffling song choices meant it just fell short of the O2 gig on the last tour.

Some of the seating was curtained off. I think its probably got a maximum of about 18,000, although it looked more like 13,000 when I went for AM.

Never been to that venue before, anyone have an idea of what it's like? Phoenix Arrow maybe?

No but what I do know is that Stephen Lynch is superb live.

Saw him in Newcastle about 4 years ago, the way he reacts to hecklers is great.

Got two lots of tickets today. Managed to get a London Grammar ticket for one of there new dates along with a 3 day pre-sale ticket to Wireless. Kanye, Drake, Outkast and load more. Cant wait
