Stuck in FM limbo

So I've been playing as my local club Gresley FC for three seasons using FMUpdates English expansion which makes level 7&8 playable. I have now just won promotion to Blue Square N/S but having now entered August the new fixtures still havn't been released and FM doesn't seem to have processed any promotion/relegation between any leagues. In short the new season doesn't appear to be going ahead.

Is there anything I can do to rectify this? I really don't want to lose this save as it's taken me forever to really get into a career on the installment of the game.

I think thats because of the custom database, things like that tend to happen when you use files like that...
I´m afraid there´s nothing you can do about it apart from sending your savegame directily to SIGames (check their forums for the E-mail adress).

I thought as much.
