Wouldn't worry, you aren't getting past Crusaders this time around.

Drogheda United FC (IRL) / Malmö FF (SWE) v Hibernian FC (SCO)

Looks like we're in for a wee trip up to see Franck if Malmo can get past the might of Drogheda.

Also, St Johnstone probably won't be a huge amount better than Crusaders, especially that early in the season when the players are still working off the summer drinking/takeaway weight.

They're a no bad side. They got promoted to the SPL ahead of us in 2009.

Played attractive football under McInnes and subsequently under Lomas, who guided them to third before he left for Millwall.

Perth, if you're going to come over [and assuming you get past the Irish boys ] is a great wee town to visit.

Some decent results for Welsh football.
Bala beating Levadia Tallinn 1-0 was the standout result and a fantastic performance by them against a gutsy defensive side.
Prestatyn were very unlucky against Metalurgs tonight, didn't deserve to lose but their chance conversion was shocking. Especially against 10 men who weren't threatening much.
Airbus by the sounds of it were a decent game for Ventspils and are good value for the 1-1 score they've got.

Bala and Airbus could potentially go through. Prestatyn have a lot to do I feel

Two away goals as well into the bargain. Though, like I told you in my St. Johnstone analysis, your away leg [as proven by trailing for a lot of tonight] will be more difficult than the home. It generally always is.

How are you doing domestically?

Pat's drew 2-2 away in Lithuania and Drogheda drew 0-0 at "home" to Malmo. Decent results

Well, obviously. As I'm not a fan of playing at home first I would have been more comfortable on us going through, but I still think we're a better side than St. Johnstone and fitness levels should show through over two legs. So as long as we don't spoil it at home in the 1st leg we should progress. Having said that, we were extremely close of being eliminated by Ordabasy from Kazakhstan last year as they held us to a 2-2 draw in the first leg. We escaped by the skin of our teeth: turned around their 1-0 lead in injury time and won 4-3 on aggregate.

Domestically there is still room for improvement but we beat leaders Strømsgodset comfortably in our latest home game and are currently sitting 2nd in the table, four points behind Godset.

Looks like Hibs are facing Malmo, these games are always so difficult for the Scottish sides as the lack of fitness and match sharpness really shows this early in the season.

Trabzonspor.

They play in Trabzon and spor is the standard suffix (altered borrowing of sport).

Playing at home over two legs sucks, and our record also proves that. Also we're bloody awful playing against teams who just park the bus and hope for a lucky goal at the moment. Having said that, we should be a better team than St. fucking Johnstone and beat them away from home. Especially as we're mid season.

You could probably buy the entire Malmö squad three times over for what Bony cost, nevermind the massive disparity in wages between the two sides.
