to what you've said it seems right to me only thing i can suggest is go over your fixtures dates ect to make sure there correct. even though it suppose to the editor does not always pick up mistakes, had it happen to me a few times were i have put wrong t...
no idea but if them rules have been made for future seasons maybe test it with out the file see if that works…when fm puts new rules in for future seasons somtimes it stays at default rules when making db changes eg fixtures
have you get any other league data files loaded? for leaguea you have loaded that are not part of the real fixtures there maybe random teams
make sure the box do not use real fixtures is unticked it under were you select leagues if youve placed everything in the right folders and seleced your custom start date should work
missed your question wasnt on badness ive no intrest in adding cup winners at this stage because this is results somthing you cant add in the cups theres plenty of custom data bases out to start season 2023/24 with correct teams europen places cup winners...
if you have installed them properly make sure you havent selected dont use real fixtures its underneath were you select the leagues you want
cant be 100% certain but try it with out france new format and portugal new format there the only 2 files i think may conflict if not im not sure myself

you cant add them same as league splits frustrating as it is always been that way. if you want to start season with updated teams 2023/24 season theres a few about if you look on previous coments (not to far back ) there should be a link

i doubt it the problem is when you do the fixtures it will stay at default league in the db so it will stay at 20 teams there can be soloutions but it can take a lot of time which somtimes isnt worth theres been bug reports for si to fix this issue...

Final Update all results are now complete . Remember Results for league splits , cups and playoffs will be random impossible to put them in, Its always been this way. Hopefully be back for FM24
im sorry i missed that comment i cant see that been anything to do with this file maybe another file your using this is only to do with results/fixtures not db updates/transfers although if you are starting a save in july 23 then all loans would automatic...

open up my file go to germany copy were it lists all comps eg bundesliga 1 2 3 cups ect open your file where it lists comps as above past save verify rules save again should be good to go 👍
no any playoffs or cup games cant be added its the way its always been
results and fixtures only and transfer/data file will work with this no problems

UPDATE all results up to and including 28/5/23. Remember cup results playoffs and League splits results will be RANDOM.. EG Aston Villa May not be in Europe one final update will arrive in around a weeks time

even with results you can start it last game of the season half way through a season by a custom start date you select mate paitence or edit your self 👍
