@Jack Hodder When you upscale a small source image to fill a larger canvas, it means the image loses sharpness/quality and doesn't look as good.

As well as that, most of the cutouts you submitted are lacking parts of the collar, and there's a noticeable harsh white outline ("snow") around the edge of the hair. This means that this cutout, and the others that have the same issues, won't be improvements over the current megapack cutouts.

The away kit you posted is still 640*640px.

As I asked you before, make sure you're only posting the 1024*1024px images, NOT a smaller thumbnail version.

Slightly larger version (@serabutaneur it's better to post the original image than a screenshot of it 👍 )

@Hajdučki sin Please make sure that you're posting the 1024*1024px versions of the 3D kit images - for quite a lot of them you posted smaller 640*640px versions which won't work in game.

The “2022/02” won't work for all images but all “wp-content” images follow that date format, it was just trial and error working backwards from “2022/08” until finding the full-size image.

Instead, you should submit these as “Source Image”.

2. Enes Sali isn't in the FM22 database (he was too young when the game was released), and the cutouts megapack only caters for people in the default FM databases. If you want to have a cutout of him for yourself to use with custom databases, you can use remove.bg. Otherwise, you'll have to be patient and wait for FM23 when he'll presumably be included.

@UkrainianBrosky This cutout is really pixellated and won't be an improvement.

@joko neve Compared to the original image, the proprtions of your cutout have been squashed making the player's face too wide. Make sure you constrain proportions/maintain aspect ratio when resizing images 👍

Additionally, all cutouts must contain some of the collar. If the collar is too far below the chin, you should nudge part of the collar upwards, as shown in this tutorial video:

Yes, the face is much larger in that one than in the image in your original request. 👍

If you can do the same for the other images in the teampack those would make for much better cutouts 🙂

I'm not entirely sure but I think this might be a bug with Google Chrome.

As a temporary workaround, click the “Save as type” dropdown that says “WEBP File”, and select “All Files”, then add “.png” at the end of the File name, like this:

@gaeddolguie Did you not see the comment from @mons above? The Arsenal players you requested already had a cutout recently, there's no need to request these ones again.

I thinking mentioning a potential ban is certainly unwarranted (the vast majority of your cutout submissions are good!), but BramNUFC is right to say that we don't want images from more than 25 years ago in the facepack, as it is supposed to represent the person's current appearance as much as possible. As Adekola is now 54 years old and having no doubt changed in appearance a lot, it makes little sense to use an image of him aged 27.

Change “&name=small” at the end of the image URL to “&name=orig” to get the larger original image size, like so:

@LFCYNWA Your cutout is quite blurry compared to the original source image (below). Are you resizing it before/after cutting or did you use a smaller source image?

@Dmitri Khokhlov Not bad, but when you have an already-transparent source image, you'll need to check for snow (stray bits of background) which is quite noticeable here. In these cases, you can just put the source image through remove.bg which will automatically clean that up 👍

The image you requested is quite blurry because it's been upscaled, and it's also from last season so won't be worth cutting anyway.

If you want a cutout of him from last season, this cutout is from the same photoshoot.

@superson The player looks very young in this image - and from looking at his social media it doesn't look like his current appearance either. Please don't request images that aren't recent.

That's because a source image that is too small to begin with won't make for a good cutout at all.

When you enlarge an image, you don't increase the  picture quality - there are only so many pixels in the original image, and those pixels just get stretched, making an enlarged image either very blurry or very pixellated, which also won't make for a good cutout.

Instead, you need to look for high-quality source images that are large enough to create a cutout - the face needs to be at least 180 pixels tall for this.
