#692371 SS' Official Kits Thread (NO REQUESTS)
weeniehutjr
You've already made this request several times, and each time you've been told to just be patient instead of posting them again. Kitmakers can't make each request instantly, they make the kits in their free time out of passion.
#692077 Max Ferrer (Maxênio do Monte Ferrer)

The image is of Adílio Santos - I've moved it to the correct timeline.

@RedWolf55 That's much better, although BramNUFC beat you to cutting the image 😉
There's just two minor things I can point out that will improve your cutout:
1) Rotating it slightly, so that the eyes are aproximately level, will look better so that the face is a bit more upright.
2) Increasing the contrast/adjusting the brightness will also improve how the cutout looks, and will make the colours less washed-out, as BramNUFC has done.
Here's a video on how to rotate the cutout (you can use Photopea if you don't have access to a program like Photoshop)
You can use Photopea to adjust the brightness/contrast of the image too.

👍 that was quick @BramNUFC 😅

@RedWolf55 This cutout is really blurry, so won't be an improvement over the current cutout. Be sure to look for high quality sources instead of upscaling low resolution ones.
#691920 Zlatko Ivanković

The best source I can find, from January 2020.
#691802 Cristiano Ronaldo
weeniehutjr
You can crop and resize the image using Photopea if you don't have a program like Photoshop or GIMP.

@Eze_Tev Another thing I need to point out is that all cutouts must contain part of the collar. Here's a video on how to move the collar up for a source image like this one, so you don't have to leave a large gap below the chin:
In cases like this where the collar in the source image is lower down than the bottom of the chin, it should be nudged upwards to be within 2-3 pixels of the chin as demonstrated in the below video. Please keep this in mind for all future cuts.

@Eze_Tev What program did you use to cut out the image? There's a lot of “snow” (white background) still left in the hair. If you use remove.bg you should be able to get a better cutout automatically. You can read this tutorials/guides thread or watch the below videos if you need any help.

The cutout megapack is for up-to-date current images, not for old ones from 20 years ago. If you want to add old images to your own game, you can cut the image yourself using remove.bg - there's a thread with tutorials/guides if you're unsure how to do that.

I agree with @bakzip here, the cutout pack looks fine to me - this is a case where the use of AI upscaling is useful, as by going from (e.g.) a face height of 220px to 250px there's not too much for the AI to “guess” what should be in a certain pixel and you still get improved sharpness/definition compared to upscaling in Photoshop.
#691464 Iwan Lewis
weeniehutjr
Current cutout is Stuart Rodgers who doesn't seem to be in the game - their website mistakenly used his photo for Lewis's profile.
Lewis is moving to Aberystwyth Town for next season so might get a better source image in a few months but for now I found a colour version of your source that just needed a bit of clone stamp to paint out the text over his face.
#691291 João Resende
weeniehutjr
@dazzybeat This source image is from 2019 so won't be an improvement over the current cutout - try and find a more recent source 🙂
#691185 SS' kits Template Thread
weeniehutjr
It's Nike 981 (nik_challengeIII in Bolid74's template pack) but with a colour print over two of the stripes
#691184 Christian Neira
weeniehutjr
@mons I've moved this cutout to the correct person's timeline.
@Alberto Ríos Rodríguez had submitted it to this Christian Neira's timeline instead, and although he noticed the mistake his comment didn't tag a moderator so it was missed. Alberto, be sure to tag @mons in your comment in the future to be sure it's seen 🙂
#691174 Nabil Chemali
weeniehutjr
@chemali Your image is of Nabil Chemali, a water sanitation/hygeine development expert who has nothing to do with football.
This profile is of Nabil Chemali, a French football trainer who happens to share the same name.
#690882 Image finder thread - assistance in finding a source image
weeniehutjr
If you're using Google Chrome (similar process for other browsers) you can right click on the image > “Inspect” or “Inspect element” to open the DevTools panel, then the image link will appear here.
#690828 Joakim Solem
weeniehutjr
@krissmed Are you sure this the correct person?
edit: The one in the most recent image is Joachim Knutset Solem, I believe this UID should be for Joakim Danielsen Solem
Joachim Knutset Solem is in the database here https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/browse/1/803135/timeline

Better source image from the club's facebook (Aldershot Town - UID 573)
#690599 Ivan Sviridov
weeniehutjr
@MattAesir If you're cutting any other Kazakh players, you can remove “_avatar” from the end of that image URL for a larger size, like this, which makes for a better quality cutout:
https://kff.kz/uploads/images/2022/05/26/628faf78ebd70.jpg
#690598 Gennaro Gattuso
weeniehutjr
@mons That source is from February 2021 and brings us back to when Gattuso had 9 cutouts in a year 😅 - it would be better to either use this source (from his Valencia presentation) or wait until LaLiga's team photoshoots for a high quality source.
#690488 Gabriel Martinelli
weeniehutjr
@Cruzeiro2003 Check the player's timeline before making a request - this is the same source as the 13.12 megapack cutout
#690402 Bruno
weeniehutjr
@Furby Furby Can you please clarify who the cutouts you uploaded for this player and this player are of?
Bruno hasn't been in the game since FM15 and as mons said, Pedro hasn't been in the game since FM18, so it wouldn't really be sensible to add them to the megapacks. Are you able to give the players' full names or see if they have profiles in FM22 with different UIDs so we know who the players in question are?
edit: The same thing goes for Rodrigues who was last in FM17, Dodô who was last in FM15, Vitinho who was last in FM18 and Karlos Wagner who was last in FM18.
#690314 Jaagup Luts

@Valentin Lentz Why did you AI Upscale the source image? The original image was perfectly large enough, there was no need to upscale it.
Regardless, the image is from November 2020, so it's from around the same time as the current megapack cutout, and the team uploaded a new image from this year on their website.
#690288 Elijah Lorenc-Clarke
weeniehutjr
The edges on your cutout looked like this which I don't think are very good - still noticeably jagged and a bit rough around his right ear - as well as having snow where the transparent pixels were duplicated. I found that just saving the image, opening it in Photoshop and exporting it again was enough to fix the problem P-Jo had.
#690211 Elijah Lorenc-Clarke
weeniehutjr
@mons I'm not sure what happened with the version you uploaded, but it seems that by putting the image through remove.bg again it duplicated transparent pixels (maybe encoding messed up on the original, which is what P-Jo referenced with the thumbnail image having “ghosting” around the hair edges)
#690135 Harrison Jiakponna
weeniehutjr
Better image quality
#690039 José Luis Mendoza
weeniehutjr
The source I rejected seems to be from 2011 (older than the current cutout) - the first source I uploaded is from 2019, the second is from 2021 but slightly worse quality
#690029 José Luis Mendoza
weeniehutjr
@ajmace_04 Could you find a source image where he is facing the camera instead of a side-profile image?
#689918 Dominic Iorfa
weeniehutjr
@sukaoleg123 Did you use an AI image upscaler? The details in the cutout look excessively smoothed.
The original image from Sheffield Wednesday's website is large enough not to need to be upscaled. But seeing as it's close to the start of the new season, it might be worth waiting a few weeks until the new team photos are released.
