@Maxinho When a cutout is this blurry, it's better to cut it at 180px rather than 250px.

@JoeMoon1506 The image quality of your cutout is extremely blurry compared to the source image.

@thiscw We have a requests forum for cutout images which you should use instead of posting them in this thread.

@Cizzu This front-facing source would make for a better cutout as long as the background isn't too difficult to cut 👍

@stefanraven Unfortunately the image you requested would be too small for a cutout without upscaling it and losing image quality.

Yeah, the one you cut was more recent. I uploaded both sources as I think the image quality of the 2020 source was a bit better.

It looks like the 2021 source is more representative of his current appearance anyway

@Dylan347 It looks like you've stretched this image horizontally (or used a source image where it was already stretched), so now his face looks a bit squashed.

@sirdiogo2 These sources are all too small to provide a high-quality cutout. The players all have 250px existing cutouts, and the size of the faces in the images you requested is only 125px, and increasing the size would lose far too much image quality.

@brookie14022 If you want to request images for multiple people at once, it might be better to use the “upload pack” function, that way you can request up to 50 images instead of just 6. Here's a video showing how:

Did you re-tick “Use caching to decrease page loading times” in the preferences menu? Leaving it unticked is the only thing I can think of that might be affecting it.

@BramNUFC This image (September 2021) is a bit bigger, do you think it would be better to cut?

@yatahaze This cutout is noticeably blurrier than the existing one. Do you think you can find a better source to cut?

@Mthcarmo It doesn't make sense to replace a high quality 250px cutout with a 180px one, especially when his appearance looks pretty much identical.

@BramNUFC I think it might be easier to cut this source rather than try and fix the colours of the one you posted

@EmreArsl12 Cutouts should be cropped to just a few pixels below the chin, not with so much of the shoulder/body included. If the source image is too small to do that at 250px, you should make the cutout 180px instead.

Also, there's a little bit of a blue outline around the hair ("snow") - if you use Photoshop (or Photopea.com, a free alternative) you can remove that snow by following this video tutorial:

@Junior Sierra This source is too small to make for an improvement over the current cutout, which was only cut a few months ago.

@claudiu-marian What software/method are you using to cut your images? The image quality isn't very good compared to the source image.

If you want to produce cuts, I suggest you first have a look at this thread for guidelines for cutters and video tutorials for some more info on what we expect for from our cuts 👍

I recommend using remove.bg for your cuts. It's a fantastic free online tool which does the heavy lifting for you by removing the background in the source image, leaving you to only rotate, crop and/or nudge the collar upwards. It's tremendously easy to use and provides fantastic quality. With it, you can go from source to cut in a couple of minutes for the vast majority of images. If you watch this video, it should address all your queries 🙂

Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons 😉 If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.
